Stargate Atlantis
prototypepariah replied to prototypepariah's topic in Rentals, Television, and Readables
there's plenty of mystery in the series. plus likable characters and intrigue. But your welcome to your opinion...so you think you can dance is about to come though, better get back to reality ! -
yeah totally agree something about this song is catchy in an mg way. where only 2-3 songs on hospital music could say the same thing..
-
yeah i'm guessing it will draw fairly well. I can't speak for any other venue but the tin angel in philly is tiny it's like maybe 200 people. I can attest to it being in a good area in philly that's easy to find from the highways. parking shouldn't be terrible(but it is a big city) if anyone is need of more info on this show I can try to help. Anyone know anything about the Cleveland show? area/venue etc etc... Is there any plans of more shows crusader ?

take it no one was in attendance for the rodchester date?
-
count me in the small group that thinks this movie is slow and boring...maybe a 6/10.
-
I thought this movie was very much like 28days - the first 45 minutes were compelling and then it's like okay we don't have a good way to finish this off fuck it lets just do what everyone wants...I thought given the ending/last 30-40 minutes(from the meeting) was total bunk. It's definitely a wait for video the theater didn't do anything it's a quiet movie.

these guys are super duper especially the older stuff. "don't turn away" "face to face" are classics and I love ignorance is bliss but that is a pretty big departure from there other stuff. in short if your into pop punk a term that would loosely describe there sound definitely check them out.

Filter
prototypepariah replied to Manchalivin's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
I could be very wrong but I though patrick was the live musican for nin and worked with nin/reznor until the downward spiral. anyway...filter is decent enough. short bus and title are good. Personally I like the slower filter songs excluding the big hit. amaamadnadaglut is decent. army of anyone while having a fairly similar sound just bores me to death. -
if that's what makes the 2 places different you may as well give up. Both countries have just about all that, just labeled a little different. Although tim horton's is 1000 times the doughnut that dunkin or krispy kreme is.(and there are a few horton's in America, and it's owned by an american company) your talking about 2 giant countries with several major differences in culture. America is not one culture and neither is canada. the way of life for people in the NE of america is drastically different than from the south, the midwest, the pacific, or southern california. To put that all together is narrow minded and generalizing. Just like saying that canada is just one. I have a feeling that life is pretty different in the GTA area compared to most of the western provinces or the maritimes. and much different than quebec. The core values and believes are similar, in practice they might not look like it but they are.

Battlestar Galactica Season 4
prototypepariah replied to Crusader's topic in Rentals, Television, and Readables
damn bsg doesn't start til april? it's been like more than a year, wow just wow that's forever. razor sounds okay, we'll see. -
i used to live in brigantine...ocean city is cool. lol the stone pony was a trip I think it's shut down, actually that would be a horrible play for MG to play. clearly there is 1000 little places in nyc or right around it. in philly he could play the tla, tin angel, the north star would be real cool, i'd bet he plays at the kyber though if he makes it to philly. the kyber is a cool little place but it's in the best neighborhood in the city and close to south street a must see for any travelers.

the cities he's looking at is on his website somewhere. pretty sure the city was mentioned philly definitely was so at least it's only a couple hours.

Battlestar Galactica Season 4
prototypepariah replied to Crusader's topic in Rentals, Television, and Readables
is this razor thing in addition to or instead of the 4th season? sounds like it could be interesting, it seems the way the general public would like bsg to be more guns and money and less hugging and kissing... -
Stargate Atlantis
prototypepariah replied to prototypepariah's topic in Rentals, Television, and Readables
last friday's episode was watchable...the show just lacks the mystery and creativity of tng or any star trek or even of the original star gate, especially the last season and a half it's just blah blah blah wraith blah blah blah replicators.... -
whispering in the dark and heathers like sunday's are top 10 mg or mgb songs definitely should be in any fans collection....in general though I find most of the old songs okay but not amazing.
-
i'm sure plenty of you guys watch the show. curious if I was the only one who couldn't even make it through the first episode without turning it off. not that the 1st three were brilliant but this was terrible.
-
hey thanks for the mp3 guys...song's nice, definitely in the vein of the last 2 cd's
-
I know it was mentioned but anyone bootleg this show sounds like one for the ages...
-
i think the switch in the voting is gonna skew the results i was a CM from clicking 99% ! CoN is the best even if it loses!

I found this about powerplay...from wiki The show was briefly aired on the US network UPN, staring in 1999, but was pulled after just two episodes. The second episode aired in the US has the distinction of being the lowest-rated episode ever (since the Neilson ratings service began in the 1950s) of any prime-time TV series ever aired by any US network. I tried to find it on torrent but wasn't able too... due south - i vaguely remember as a teenager(it too was on in the states) but didn't much care for it then, i'll give it another shot! gonna try to check out robson arms and davinci, maybe corner gas as well.... thanks everyone and if there are any other shows worth checking out please let me know.
-
Curious if there are any good shows on north of the boarder that aren't on in the states and would be available on torrent. I like sci-fi and comedy and law and order.
-
yeah it's kinda dumb...considering the song was the least voted everytime... these are the best four songs. tough call.
