david bowie was telsa(who's like the most awesome and important guy in the world) was really amazing I didn't recognize him. the movie was pretty good the end was "kinda" lame but overall much better more interesting than the norton flick. Best movie in a long time is ahuge stretch but it was enjoyable.

wow that sounds like a really really good permise hopefully he can pull it off...

berlin is pretty new if were born in the 80's and didn't ever see or hear the top gun soundtrack. -
I think she's in for the money will be a popular song as well, most of us having heard it so often are just more excited for the new stuff.

well you could live where the radio has no matthew good? besides who the heck listens to the radio these days.

lol all the profits...does what al gore got paid to do the movie count as profit? i'd love to see how much he was paid to do the movie. I have zero belief he did it for nothing period. and if you doubt the tenn. research I suppose we could call the local electric company. but i'm willing to bet it's true.

I thought this movie was a good idea but just pointless. it's like oh well no one can get preggo but then it's hardly about that it's about this dumb wanker's struggle to get to the human project. SPOILER (Highlight to View) but then she gets there and wammo leave it up to you to decide if she makes it or not. Sometimes that's great but when the whole movie is nothing but people backstabbing eachother, it leaves the move on a very seious downer. for what it's worth it felt like an endless stab at america and how it will turn into a police state. SPOILER (Highlight to View) "homeland security" on the entance into the refuge city, with the arab cats running around trying to start trouble and the Brits just wontonly(lol is that a word?) bombing away. it wasn't a balanced think about the what could happen it was like this is what's gonna happen get ready to die fuck america. the best part about this movie was near the end that was really well done. felt very much like 28 days later, and not just in that everyone has a british accent.

great idea poorly executed hard to watch...I tried not taking it seriously but it still was bad even from a very lighthearted perspective. It was adapted from a fairy tale his kid liked or something.. I live near the tree's from the village those f'n things are really scary.

Making A Cd Of "unreleased" Matt Good Songs...
prototypepariah replied to LordBimbly's topic in Matthew Good
could add the live songs? -
I felt it was hard to follow and the ending was a good twist.. I wasn't expecting anyhing that drastic to happen so when it did it was tough for my little brain to follow. Downey was good ps. I checked the first page this forum didn't look that active sorry I missed the thread!

thoughts? I'm not sure what to make of this movie yet. the artwork innovative and cool. Some of the dialogue was funny. the plot kinda went over my head as of right now, the ending was kinda like whoa what?

did MG have the rights to publish it on his own site then? by putting out there was he not distributing it? lots of bands play lots of covers..."cover bands" do they really get lisences to play each song. thats amazing if so.

I get what your saying matrix...I trying to say the way they go about the interaction is boring and more importantly to me it's illogical(both from the characters standpoint and from my own). the last last episode was nonsense, it was boring, it involved people that until then had 10 lines between them. They had rose and bernard where'd they go? they've constantly put new faces into the plot spinner and given them backstories...there's plenty of ways to involve subplots and drama without a spinner cycle of interchangable people. Also the love fests are very melodramatic. conversely I thought this weeks episode was good one of the better ones. the "subplot" if you will with sawyer and hurley was cute/enjoyable. while kate and the blonde girl's part was well done and interesting. the end with them leaving the security of the village to go back to the island seems silly at this point, but that can slide for now. Baldy going with the others was neat- coulda been expanded upon, but good. overall this was a good enjoyable episode.

how could you not? it's on everywhere all day.

She's In It For The Money (on Matthewgood.org Now)
prototypepariah replied to PsychoLamb's topic in Matthew Good
I like the lyrics even though they are cliche to an extent. the music is good it's loud but in a low key sorta way. it sounds real good. -
I can kinda hear the references but given that he's been around since those clowns were still doing math homework. Even as a new song they sound like him, imho. It's pretty good...it does sound a bit like a single in the middle + with the easy to recite chorus.

It's how it felt to me anyway...they have gone on for 2 years about these same people and then they ram these two into a show, in which they are killed at the end? the whole thing does nothing to advance the show. i'm not a fan of the flashbacks but I understand there imporatance, or sometimes you have an episode which is lighthearted but tihs was neither. this was pointless. it's like having a part in the matrix about two other people(say the ones that lived under neo) in the matrix for a few minutes killing them and getting back to neo.

lol on a side note hackers = awesome movie. I would hope MG knows when he can and can't play a song and when he's allowed to put it on his own website....sigh i'll just keep holding my breathe until it's back up...

how ? it's a serial show it's just a longer movie...it's not like one episode has no bearing on another the plot moves along just like a movie. You would have a hard time if you just decided to start watching this wednesday night for the first time. just like watching a movie 40 minutes in. Lost compares favorably to a movie in those respects. Unlike says the simpsons where having knowledge of last weeks episode isn't nessesary to watch this weeks.
