agree...lots of things are lacking in quick follow ups. and tory is a total piece of ass I don't care if she goes all t-1000 on everyone more air time(although cally was hot too) I feel like any major character gets the shaft as the 5th is gonna be a disappointment, kinda hoping for someone off the radar. starbuck was on law and order...lol...she can play the crazies!

lost sorry...totally missed this thread... never watched 24...it looks too much like lost w/o the sci-fi. tension alone doesn't do it for me.

the tv market is very barren right now anything remotely watchable will be on at my home.

it was funny if you are into smith's flicks. being from pittsburgh where it was filmed it had some really funny extra's the non yinzers wouldn't get.

so thoughts on the cd? anything special? - is it worth buying if you already have tons of bootleg live shows?

ehhgads man you have like 1000's of post and don't own every cd! it's certainly a must have for a fan, it's better on the whole that lotga that's for sure.

the last 2 episodes have been pretty good...i don't like ronan's character kinda bummed it's getting das boot.

meh i'm not surprised... the last season was pretty bland. This season has been better, kinda breaking the mold of the campy stuff a little bit. the stargate movies were both mediocre...can't say i'm super pumped about a new one.

2k is junk for hockey the graphics are way behind and the gameplay felt choppy... ea has the skill stick which is other than some high level glitches really really slick, and a ton of fun to use plus with the lack of a button shooting it gives you a ton of control. the flip dump was already in the game idk why they are drawing some light to it. unless the play will be more easy to manage. I do miss the lack of scrums but maybe they'll be sneaked in like a girlfriend on prom night : ) the goalies need a tweak, and the one times are really easy to employ and score with but aside from that and especially in the multi-player(with a HUMAN goalie) it's endless fun for any hockey fan. playing 4v4 online this season was a blast and 6v6 ranked sounds like it will be better(although quitters and the like will be a major pain we'll see how it's dealt with) I play a ton ton ton ton of nhl08 online - if anyone wants to teach me a lesson my s/n is my gamer tag on live.

It was a blatant shot at wal-mart bit chains, taking over the little man. lazy people ruining the planet. The part about people being stuck in chairs, was to my remembrance based in some truth that if you were born and raised in space your bone mass would affected due to gravity. I guess you could say the ship had it but...regardless that didn't appear to be the intention of the movie. It was very very political for a pixar/disney kids movie. I was shocked, that said I liked the wall-e- story a lot it was adorable.

yep this is exactly what star trek(and we the viewer need) a new star trek show with a few familiar faces, but going in a new, but familiar direction...exploring the outer reaches of home area. or even making a partial focus on federation law, blend the sci-fi with the law and order/csi kinda idea...you can throw a lot of previous people in the mix easily with this concept without it look like some lame attempt at ratings. voyager was pretty blah for the most part..(some highlights but mostly boring characters and lame episodes) ds9 was solid when it wasn't about the stupid bajorans, and the bakula star trek was pretty brutal all around... Man I'm loving this idea. Just get some good writers no anti climatic season long arcs or stupid standoffs you know the good guys will win and this could be the best show yet.

hope they make a nod to him in atlantis asap. could make a whole arc about this....

it was mostly a suggestion at this point...I'm physically incapable of playing any instruments(unless rock band counts ;) )but I think the idea is a really good one. If someone(you?) would play the music/reinvent the song I would give recording some vocals a try if someone could then mix it without it being too much of a problem. alas flight recorder is done...hmmm... actually my top 2 choices would be; life beyond ... fine art of falling apart. I think heathers like sundays could work or so long misses smith.

so how long until this is all finished? it sounds like you guys go your self a hit record!! cheers any anyone want to do a super fast/angry version of flight recorder? or just take a slower song and totally reinvent it?

for what it's worth nearfantastica I dig what your shoveling...it wasn't all about the set but the experience overall. which for you was lacking. Like others said going to that sort of show one should expect that sort of set to be played...but it is MG and he would be one I could definitely see playing no hits or doing a set of elo covers...

ugh...I like a mid season prequel. but 3 more afterwards? or worse some time during the run would be killing it. I wouldn't mind a post bsg kinda thing that could open up a whole slew of possibilities. it's a shot that star trade voyager never took off with, but opening up a world already kinda charted with in the future(different) would be really really wicked.

no comments about the mid-season finale? hmm...it was decent. I'm not sure how I feel about starbuck being sooooo important and then sooooo unimportant(it seems like katee sackoff has a movie or something going on) these cameo like appearances are weird. I love admiral adama his character is so great. The co-op to earth was okay, kinda sets up an interesting finish(and a gooey happy ending) I'm bummed out it will be so long until the wrapping up. The shows climax leaves a serious void in my tv watching.

i'm glad i'm not the only one who feels this way. it started off fairly compelling this year but it's just dragging now. Maybe it's the mystery when a show opens and feeling it out. but now it's like just going through the motions. A lot of the stuff that happened, in the past 3 seasons(the occupation, the shrine thing from the 1st year) just really really make little sense or helped move the plot along now in hindsight. I really am also starting to wane on the constant satires of the US political climate. It's nice but we get it. I love the characters of the show the personalities, just wish there was more plot and less drama.
