You are absolutely ridiculous. First off, how many Hilary Duff cds does she have? Two at most? Obviously, she isn't going to be able to fill a cd with singles and I acknowledge that she'll have to use other songs to fill the space; but a majority of those would be new tracks. You need to clarify your third sentence. I have no idea what that's supposed to mean but I THINK you are trying to say that they use 'the radio single versions' of singles on greatest hits albums? That is correct but do you see any of those versions of the aforementioned IME cd? The acoustic versions of the Matt Good greatest hits package ISN'T on THE GREATEST HITS cd, it's obviously on the deluxe edition and deluxe editions offer more than what normal greatest hits cds offer. As you would know, they also sell In A Coma itself without the deluxe discs and THAT is the Greatest Hits album. It also has non-singles being Big City Life and Pony Boy. That's NOT my argument. Greatest Hits albums feature albums or radio cuts of their greatest hits; NOT remakes or live versions on the ACTUAL single disc. You failed to find me a Greatest Hits cd that has NON-album versions of their singles. That's because it doesn't exist. I don't know what you are trying to prove.

I Mother Earth, Moist, Our Lady Peace, Alexisonfir

I have them on VHS, back when it was cool to tape things off tv via analogue. I had the special edition moist greatest hits cd with the bonus EP but I sold it for nothing pretty much. -
Political Compass
Shortcut To Moncton replied to Ravenous Yam's topic in Politics and Debate: WRONG!
That is such a biased political compass. It's almost impossible to not get Left/Libertarian status unless you are trying to NOT attain it. Who calls for a new test? I'll find a better one. -

Here Comes Your Man - Pixies -
It's a greatest hits album of the Edwin stuff. Also, AoE had 2 albums, 1 e.p. and 2 tape releases. http://www.hrmrecords.com/toddkerns/music.html *shakes head* I have never heard a Greatest Hits album that doesn't have ORIGINAL VERSIONS OF THE ACTUAL HITS. Like I already said, six tracks out of the 12 tracks are singles and they AREN'T EVEN THE ALBUM VERSIONS OF THE SINGLES. It's basically a live/rarities cd.

What he said. But add Loser Anthems ahead of Raygun.

Zooropa was easily their best album. -
Funny how everyone is doing polls once I started one up. Wait, that looks like an insult. It wasn't supposed to be one.

What if I don't have any mp3s on my computer but instead, own 355 cds? I guess I'm outta luck. -

Matt's New Stuff Is Far Too Underated

White Light Rock And Roll Review is nothing to have an orgasm over. Though, I will agree that Avalanche has its moments of brilliance, but essentially, the best material was in his band. -
Most Overrated MG(B) Song
Shortcut To Moncton replied to Shortcut To Moncton's topic in Matthew Good
Yes, don't get mixed up between overrated and overplayed. We are judging by the quality of the songs; not the number of times you've repeatedly heard it on your favourite radio station or at a Matt Good show which essentially might have caused a resentment. I had to include singles; there's no way I could have left out songs like Near Fantastica, The Future Is X-Rated or Weapon. I was originally going to use Tripoli instead of Load Me Up but then I figured that everyone would jump on Apparitions (and they probably would). -
Unacceptable.

Most Overrated MG(B) Song
Shortcut To Moncton replied to Shortcut To Moncton's topic in Matthew Good
I would have included Hello Time Bomb if I was allowed to fit in four more songs. But for the most part, I feel like everyone reasonably likes that song and it isn't praised in the slightest. It's either you like Rico or you don't. I knew people would crawl over Apparitions and that's why I included it. -

I chose the songs which I felt people might consider to be overrated. Well?

2005 Matthew Good Band Elimination
Shortcut To Moncton replied to NationofCool's topic in Matthew Good
Wow, five obvious, obvious blow outs. 1) Running For Home 2) Born To Kill 3) While We Were Hunting Rabbits 4) Apparitions 5) She's Got A New Disguise [except this one seems to be close so far for a bizarre reason] OH yes, also, it is a SHAME that Near Fantastica defeats two incredible songs; being Flight Recorder From Viking 7 and Life Beyond The Minimum Safe Distance. You people make me sick. -

I of the Mourning is one of the fave Pumpkins songs aside from Soma and Mayonnaise. Better Than Ezra - "Normal Town"
