  1. Damn that's expensive. My two tickets for the Halifax show only cost me $60.00 even (including the shipping fee to have them mailed to me). Oh well. Everything else is cheaper in Ontario by far.
  2. Yeah, Tripoli and Advertising on Police Cars really did it for me. Same with Avalanche, Weapon and Near Fantastica. Those are some off of the top of my head but there's tons more.
  3. Maybe Strangest One Of All? That's probably what I skip the most.
  4. 2 votes for Champions of Nothing? Surprising.
  5. I really like what's been done with it; I didn't think it was that good at all when listening to bootlegs of the 2006 shows but this version is pretty decent.
  6. No, I meant I'd vote your mom off of the album before I voted True Love off. Which is saying something 'cause I'm really into your mom. ;)
  7. http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=623990271 Taken right from the link on mg.org, Ozz. And yeah, the random audio samples are pretty awesome on the record. They add a lot of depth to the music, I'm hoping the songs will still seem as deep when played solo acoustic.
  8. Up until about about a month ago I always kept thinking in my head that I liked MGB more than MG and that nothing he's done has really compared to BM and AOB but then I realized how much I listen to the solo releases compared to the others. What really blows me away when I think about it is when you take Avalanche, White Light Rock and Roll Review, Hospital Music and Underdogs, Beautiful Midnight, and Audio of Being and analyze the amount of overall diversity between the two sets of albums. MG solo stuff is far more diverse and I think Matt has grown a lot more as an artist since he's gone solo.
  9. Yeah, I'm the same as Designate. Don't own and CD's but I enjoy the music if I hear it. I like: Nelly Furtado Justin Timberlake Nickleback (I own their first album when they were independant, way better than all of the others) Outkast Britney Spears (I like her In The Zone album)
  10. I voted yes 'cause I'd be totally honest with whatever artist... The thing for me is I wouldn't just walk up to My Chemical Romance or whoever on street and tell them I thought they sucked. If I happened to be speaking to an artist I would totally give them my opinion if I was asked what I thought of their stuff and why I disliked or liked it. To me engaging someone in conversation just to badmouth them or something they do is fuckin' childish (unless you're talking about trying to intervene on someone's actions that have the potential to hurt someone else, of course). But yeah, if you don't like a song or artist just don't listen to it. Request what you want to hear on the radio, if the station doesn't listen just turn them off.
  11. Yeah, I voted Moon Over Marin. It should have went before TLWFYITE, in my opinion. I probably would have voted for that after MOM though.
  12. I love White Light... Basically every release from Beautiful Midnight onward has been really awesome to me (well, I really love every release for it's own special qualities but those ones I listen to a bit more). Right now I'd place them like this: Beautiful Midnight = Avalanche (BM came out when I needed it so it's special to me, plus it's great) Hospital Music = White Light Rock and Roll Review = Audio of Being = Loser Anthems Underdogs Raygun Last of the Ghetto Astronauts I'm always growing more and more fond of Hospital music too, so this may change a little shortly. Edit: I didn't include In A Coma because it's a greatest hits but I forgot about the Rooms disc. I'd probably throw it in there with Underdogs or something, I guess. Maybe above Underdogs but below the other four?
  13. Damn, I can't believe all the hate for that tune.
  14. Yeah, I thought it was pretty bad-ass. I was really impressed with it, actually.
  15. Yeah, GWUTFOAF and IANSTAB are my two least favourite tracks, I think. Girl Wedged is pretty damn cool but I'm not really all that fond of Safer Than a Bank... It works decently enough within the context of the album but outside of that it's basically garbage. When it was released earlier this year I thought it had potential if it was developed more (and it certainly still does) but I was not overly pleased when I saw it was placed on the album as is.
  16. I Am Not Safer Than A Bank
  17. What browsers are you using? Worked fine in IE7 for me, although that's the only thing it worked in.
  18. Thomas... Named after a cat that ate donuts.
  19. 100. Refused - The Shape Of Punk To Come 99. (What's the Story) Morning Glory? - Oasis 98. Radiohead - Kid A 97. Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense 96. Pearl Jam - Binaural 95. Billy Bragg - Life's A Riot With Spy vs. Spy 94. Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot 93. The Clash - London Calling
  20. I hate myself and the world sucks. I should just kill myself. GHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY!
