7/10 Their new stuff is kind of weak, but their old stuff (new way to be human, and learning to breathe) are amazing and original Rage Against the Machine

As for favorite....probably cant get shot in the back. probly should be on another board, but to all you that are missing MG songs, I'd be willing to give up all together and whatever else for bontempo tracks (i'm missing 4). I'm pretty sure i have everything matt's done except for the last 4 bontempo tracks listed at the store.

agreed, i've only watched the first season (accessibility problems, it was on show case all the time when i watched it), its an incredibly well done series with real characters and a good story

all i know is that he has one more cd to record for his contract with universal. On his site he makes it sound as if he might not record anything new after that and just tour his stuff. Not to say that he'd stop writing, you'd just have to get bootlegs of his new stuff instead of buying albums.

i chose "you are here" simply because it's such a great direct comparrison of my girlfriend and I. We've been planning to rerecord it, but i dont know when that'll actually happen.

LotGA is my fav (love the crazy bass line), it was the ocean for a while, but after listening to the songs for a while i definately have to go with LotGA

i dont really mind olp, but they dont have a whole lot of really great stuff. Apology is the only stand out song on the new album... oh and the song "boy" is a total U2 rip off.

i personally like most of matt's lyrics the best, especially most of AoB, and The Fine Art of Falling Apart, but my current fav line of his is: "I'm drawing a map to oblivion, and when i get there i will send for you....and I will give you directions" I think that's the exact line, but i cant remember. funny/morbid, i like it.

wasnt tarantino also in on El Mariachi? I think he was, whatever. In terms of him ripping stuff off, i totally agree, but really, everyone does it. I think the lure of tarantino's stuff is just the way it comes accross, and the fact that pulp fiction had such an impact on pop culture at the time that no one could really just forget about him...even though he hasnt really put out anything good since.

the concert was awesome (was my first time at the commodore), and it was worth waiting hours in line to be front and center, (i dont know about that crazy opening band tho)but of course there were a couple of ass-clowns that distracted me occassionally from the amazing performance. The set list was pretty predictable, but i enjoyed Prime time deliverance, nothing from LOTGA tho. Oh, and i got Rich's pick! another note: i saw the set list posted on the stage before the show, and there was definately only three encore songs on it, so its cool that he decided to play an extra one at the end.

Hey, i'm new to this board and i think you guys have an awesome setup here. the problem is that i really want some of the MG songs on here and dont really have time to madly post stuff on here all the time. I was wondering if there was any other way to find some of this stuff (BonTempo, 4 minute mile, Good and Dahl stuff) without spending a whole lot of time? I used to have a DC++ filter for MG stuff, but i've misplaced it while i was changing computers. Would this stuff be on there? thanks for the help guys
