Mg(b) Song That Most Fits Your Mood Today

my life as a circus clown seems fitting for today -
I said suburbia, but I miss new wave is definately a close second

I think any song would be cool, I really would like to see people's renditions of fine art and other stuff that may be considered personal because they would bring a whole new feel to it...which is kinda the point in this sort of thing.

that armchair sinics song sounds sooo familiar that i could swear it was a cover, or it just sounds a lot like another song...i dunno. o, and I totally agree with the Pieces-sum 41 and the scientist-coldplay resembalance, check it out its eerie ....the guitar from pieces sounds like the piano from the scientist. That and the obvious wonderwall-oasis and boulavard of broken dreams-green day comparison.

I suck at guitar but I'm sure my girlfriend would record something in a solo accoustic style (I'm surprised she hasnt responded to this thread yet)

you guys already covered most of my fav's, but here are a couple more: "those missile men with their master plan dont get paid to understand, makes you wonder where we got these shit-eating grins from" "there's a TV in every room and its free, even pay-per-view, its what you'll need if no one's going to visit you...animal" "died in coquitlam, got laid by a golf course that I never went to...well its not a real sport, and I miss new wave, watching you walk away, so go on its ok, cuz baby I got something right, ya baby I got something right, maybe I got one thing right" "Jen I'll bring them to their knees" "she always used to say: life's a dirty business, so just be a prick and do it while the world's awake" "what would you say if we lived on tv, besides all the things they told you to" "what if you could make it so that times werent tough, so when every day when the world woke up there'd only be weather on the news" crap, too many, I have to stop or this will be endless -
death star and x-wing are star wars references....I thought everyone knew that, and I'm pretty sure you're looking waaaaay to deeply into the song, I'm pretty sure Matt just threw it together about being a loser. Dont think there is any kind of weird undertone

but really, that isnt all that impressive...maybe if you walked in during the last verse of hello time bomb would your thread name be appropriate (why is it so unusual that they played rico and flashdance II? they were both singles, I hear them every once and a while on the fox...heck, i hear ray gun and havent slept in years every once in a while on the radio).

"all you need is love" the Beatles -
we're so heavy blue skies over badlands that and the BM version ends, where the lo-fi version fades off, I like the building, then how it ends with the beep abruptly...leading into running for home

ya, thats an amazing list...i've never been to an accoustic concert before, so i dont really know how it would open, it wouldnt have the same kind of energy that his regular shows would have, should be interesting.
