Full Band Setlist Megathread (merged)
noise_pollution replied to Monochrome Rainbow's topic in Matthew Good
I wrote it down and you are exactly right. I thought it was a really good show and that the lead guitarist was a fantatic musician and fun to watch. Although I probably would of liked a few more rare gems in the set list, it was probably the first time in over three years Matt looked like he was having fun on stage. I didn't hang around to meet him after the show as I was under the weather and didn't feel like getting the poor guy sick. -
Your post is a joke right?

I can't believe the lack of bootlegs this tour. On the last one it seemed there was one popping up every second day around here. Oh well mayve someone will tape the Winnipeg show (god knows I have no idea how) and some of the shows out of west. -

So seek and you shall.... Q uoted from a comment on Matt's blog: "Not quite in the right order and possibly incomplete (from memory): Champions of Nothing Born Losers A Single Explosion Weapon Load Me Up Muppet Theatre Avalanche 99% Of Us Is Failure Odette Hello Time Bomb Put Out Your Lights Blue Skies Over Badlands I -
Ahahaah this shit writes itself....

I am actually shocked at the legs this thread has. I figured 4 pages max until this thread went into Bored obscurity. With that being said I do hope some sort of half decent product sees the light of day.

I am pretty sad that Pledge is no where to found on the full band or acoustic roster. I really wish Load Me Up would just get dropped all together, although I know why he keeps it around. I just wish there were a few more gems or surprise picks. But who knows maybe Matt has something up his sleeve and didn't list everything.

Besides a couple Hospital Music songs I have seen every single one of those songs live before.;) Oh well solid set choices nonetheless.

Easy there. Thinking a band isn't very good isn't the same thing as disliking someone for enjoying their music. All the responses that didn't enjoy the Barenaked Ladies were pretty tame and weren't directed at any users. If we all kept our opinions to ourselves there would next to no posts on this board at all. I could see if the responses were malicious or completely off topic but as they are I see no fault in them and I am sorry that you do.

That is actually my close friend Jeremy (aka Drifting Influence) He also has a somewhat professional cover of Prime Time on his my space for those interested. Although most of you have probably already heard it already. Prime Time: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...iendID=18262035 Like before this isn't intended for the album as it isn't mine. I am sure if you asked him he would let you use it though.

Thanks brother. -
Hopless was pretty good, almost as awesome as the Yars Revenge poster in his avatar.

Strange Days was top notch. I really enjoyed it and thought it was very well done.

Cause he hates you!!..I digress... He probably didn't email you back cause you had the nerve to ask him if you could cover some snippet he had on his website. Especially after he made a blog enrty reagarding not doing demos anymore on his site in the first place.I mean you have so much materiel to work with as it is, yet you want to cover some unfinished demo. Seeing as it would only piss Matthew off I wouldn't exactly call that a tribute.

Not be a jerk but who is on quality detail?

How can you not? There is more variety on Transatlanticism than Parachutes, A Rush..., and X and Y combined. But yeah too each their own. I am not about to rip on someone's music taste especially when comparing two solid bands like Coldolay and Death Cab. -

It was in the middle and not a bad song by any stretch. I still think Talk is a better "rock" single but that might be cause I am crazy for Computer Love by Kraftwerk(the main riff was sampled from this song). -

I just wish his Alarmbell band actually would of panned out. In Out was such an awesome tune. Edit: Matt/Ryan's version of Agoraphobe is way better than the new version
