Yeah, apparently Hayes has said in numerous previous interviews that he had no problem with the Scientology episode. The latest word is that some Scientology person essentially quit for him (Scientology has people monitor you), while he is recuperating from his stroke. Scientology has been putting a lot of pressure on South Park recently, such as having the Scientology episode pulled enitrely. Anyway, apparently Scientology/ists forced him to quit. Mitch Hedberg is/was way awesome.

Yeah the Calgary show was fantastic. Matt seemed in really good spirits this time, and talked a lot with the audience. I thought his reaction to someone in the crowd requesting "South of Summer" was funny, and the Worst Case Scenario Handbook readings were good as well. Melissa McClelland was brilliant, too. I really liked the little casio keyboard thing. "This is the Rumba". All in all, excellent show.

Yeah that's basically it. Some people also give the 'if we didn't keep the numbers down they'd starve themselves' thing, but I don't know if I buy that. Notice how nobody ever bothers trying to save animals that aren't cute? Although, contrary to popular belief, it is illegal to kill the seal pups; they have to be adult.
