I can get it through my cable company for $8 a month. Or I could buy a Tivo for like $200 and spend $9.99 a month for service.

Is anyone else as excited about this movie as me? Sam Mendes is a brillant director. Road to Perdition is one of the best films I've seen. The cinematography looks to be amazing, and Jake Gyllenhaal and Jamie Foxx are amazing.

Ah, what? Check the post above man, I was on the right page. And.... Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai

Spielberg, of couse. M. Night Shyamalan David Fincher Richard Kelly Sam Mendes And, can I just say... *completly hoping M:I-3 is amazing* I know it will be his first big screen directorial, but J.J. Abrams is a fucking genius. Lost and Alias are the two best shows on TV.

My favorite horror movie is Scream. Not because it's scary, but I love it because it's the first movie I saw that actually pointed out all of the horror movie cliches before it did them. And the ending suprised the shit out of me.

If you're going to list American Pie up there, you might as list the Blade Trilogy and the Scream Trilogy as well. I mean, there all fine and dandy movies, but by no means the greatest trilogy of all time. And, you don't even list Matrix? Yeah, the second and third were a bit of a let down, but still, it's a hell of a ride. The only reason people still call Star Wars a trilogy is because the two parts were made and released so far apart. It's like the original trilogy and the crappy trilogy, but it is still considered all one story, and now that Episode III is out, the story has concluded. Therefore, I don't think you can continue to label the movies a trilogy. You have to count Episodes I-VI. And, just like the Matrix sequels brought down the story, so did Episodes I-III. Thanks Lucas, you could have had the best story on film, but ya ruined it. Alien had four movies, not three. While, five if you count Alien vs. Predetor. I don't. And, I also don't count 3 & 4, because they were awful. After all of that, I'll have to vote LoTR...by far the greatest trilogy ever made. I felt all three were amazing on their own and tied together the whole story, which is what a series should do.

I ripped both albums with no problem.

I didn't see anyone mention Hannibal Lector.
-
Whom ever mentioned Titanic was entirely correct. And, although I enjoyed it...The Blair Witch Project.
-
Well, if you must. The LoTR trilogy in a whole is far better. But I'd still watch the original Matrix over any LoTR movie anyday.
-
I completely agree with you. Even though Reloaded and Revolutions pale in comparison to the original, you have to marvel in the sheer scope of the movies. However, the first still blows the sequels out of the water.

kevin spacey is one of the most underrated actors alive. that being said, i agree with seven and american beauty. empire strikes back is right up there as well. I don't consider a guy who's won two Oscars under-rated. To be quite honest, I find him annoying. The Matrix Donnie Darko Schindler's List To Kill A Mockingbird The Sixth Sense Seven Fight Club....yes, David Fincher is a god. Road to Perdition

I enjoyed all the songs on the disc. But if we're talking about improvement or sounding better or different, I'd have to say my least favorites are Apparitions, Strange Days and Advertising on Police Cars. Like everyone has said, we've all heard Apparitions acousticly, and Strange Days really doesn't sound different from the original version. Advertising on Police Cars is my favorite song from AoB, that version was so haunting, it was surreal. This version is too mellow. My favorites are, in order: Tripoli, Truffle Pigs, Generation X-Wing, and actually North American for Life (this version is so creepy).

Ok, no tease now. The Rabbits video is super cool, but it's hidden on the DVD. It's easy to find, a little to easy because you can over look it like me and miss it and then spend an hour looking for it, only to find it was right in front of your face. No hints though. Generation X-Wing is the best acoustic song, in my opinion. But I'll have to listen to them all again. Big City Life is amazing. But I kind of like the live version better. Although, at least I can understand this one.

Tripoli kicks ass in acoustic.

I just put it on right now. Truffle Pigs is cool so far. I'll fill in later.

I preorder the day Anton put up the link, and I got it today, bitches. Hahahahahaha......... Edit: In A Coma, that is.
-
Just so you know, I did it through your amazon.com linky. edit: Does that deserve NF$? jk
-
By that time no one will remember.
-
Yah. Well, if I get it early, then I'll really gloat.
-
To all the peeps saying they'll get it Tues. I live in the states, so I have to pre-order. Second, when I pre-ordered, amazon says it'll be shipped on Sept. 6th. When I read that I thought it was a mistake, which is probably true, because why would they ship it before its release date? I can see them shipping it early so I get it on the release date, but I did priority shipping, and that would mean I'd get it by the 9th. It's a mistake I'm sure, but if I do get it earlier...haha bitches.
