The Big Chill

This was by far the best movie I've seen this summer. Christian Bale did a wonderful performance of Batman. The boy who played Scarecrow was very creepy indeed. Liam Neison was great as Raz Al-Gul, and Christopher Nolan is one of the best directors in recent years. I'm so glad they went back to the actual idea of the 'Dark Knight'. The comics, especially in recent years, are by no means a kids tale, and that's how the movie should be and was. The backstory was great too. Two gripes though...Katie Holmes' character could have been completely cut out and the hand to hand fight scenes had way too many cuts in them. Let me see the damn action. Everyone who makes an action film should get a clue from the Matrix....long, pulled back takes.

Sunset Strip

You're confused, at least I hope you are. Overdubbing with street noise in the studio would defeat the very purpose of having an imperfect, 'natural' recording. Maybe they were recorded simulatneously then If you actually read his blog, you'll see that he set up a mic outside of the studio while he was recording, and it picked up street noise. He says it gives it a more natural feeling. If you play the beginning of Alert Status Red, you'll hear what he's talking about.

The acoustic CD is going to be limited? Do we have any idea how many copies are going to be made? If it is limited, I would still be able to purchase it off Amazon or something like that right? Living in the US sucks if I can't get a copy of that.

What questions did you want answered? What the island is or where it's at? That would ruin it. End of series. The numbers? There's clues, you just have to watch. I'm more intrigued now then I was before, I can't wait until next season.

Obviously, that's what makes people tune in each week. Also, if all your questions were answered, there would not be a series.

The acoustic CD is guaranteed, Matt's already said Prime Time Deliverance is on it for sure. The DVD's been hinted at, but not confirmed.

High Crimes

I saw it. I found it surprising as well. I don't usually expect much from a Jet Li movie. But both Bob Hoskins and Morgan Freeman were brillant. And to add, it's Unleashed. You forgot the h.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but it was a US show right? Cause I seem to remember that the kids who got Canada didn't have a clue either.

Yeah, she's in it. SPOILER (Highlight to View) We find out that she was on a boat with her family and friends. The boat got lost and landed on the island. Apperently, whatever is on the island killed everyone but her. She says they all went crazy and got sick. As far as what happened before that point, they don't tell.

The first season should be on DVD in Sept. I believe.

Lost is one of the best shows on TV. To truly enjoy the show you have to see the whole season. To answer some of your questions though SPOILER (Highlight to View) General concensus is that they are not dead. I believe it has something to do with the young boy, Walt. He seems to have some psychic powers possibly. Also, with the numbers on the bunker that Hurley saw...he played the Lotto with those numbers and won like 36 million dollars. After he won though, he started having really bad luck. Like people dying and stuff. He thought it was the numbers, and their on the bunker. Not good.

Weren't Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman married in the comic or am I mistaken? I don't see Jessica Alba as Invisible Woman at all.

Matt is by far my favorite artist. I had a period there when White Light Rock & Roll Review let me down a little, and I went to Coldplay and then Jimmy Eat World's 'Futures' came out, and I was all about that. Then I downloaded 'Can't Get Shot in the Back'. Now it's all about Matt again. As it should be.
