I haven't listened to the entire album, but I LOVE 9 Crimes the song. It reminds me of Tripoli (acoustic) a lot for some reason.

Apocalypto. Pretty awesome.

Wow. Not what I was expecting. I don't really like it, and the vocal style doesn't really draw any attention to the lyrics.

Just got home from Apocalypto. Like all of Gibson's movies, it was long. It was also pretty good. It held my interest through the entire film (though the ending was weak.) All in all, I reccomend checking it out. It's not too gory, so even if you have a weak stomach you should be relatively OK. SPOILER (Highlight to View) The only thing I really didn't dig is the little girl with the "plague." WTF kind of little girl stands around by her dead family and yells weird prophecies at total strangers who shove her around with a stick? It didn't really make sense. Also, the baby being born underwater deal was a little dumb as well, but pretty irrelevant story-wise, so I didn't care much.

Anna Molly and Rogues are my fav songs from the CD.

Most of the lyrics are a little drab, but these sections really stood out to me. I want to hear!

Luv (sic) by The Tragically Hip. I think that's one of the best song names I've ever seen. I just really like the cleverness of it, and how it works on multiple levels. Plus, it's the best song on the (somewhat disappointing) CD.
