  1. yeah, it's a little random and specific for my tastes. Plus PS3 is gonna be waaaaay better.
  2. Hahahaha, it's so terrible I love it.
  3. It didn't work for me either, and I'm using IE (I know, know...) But I have the song now, so I'm happy.
  4. I like Iron Maiden and Matthew Good. I've had at LEAST 10 people confuse him with Dave Matthews. And he's underrated simply because people don't hear his good stuff. Honestly, whenever I mention Matt Good, the resonse I get 90% of the time is "didn't he do that In a World Called Catastrophe song?" It was SO overplayed and it frigin sucked. Honestly, I've just started saying 'no' and sending them Tripoli. Works every time*. *As long as you edit out the creepty chilren's chorus. That turns some people off.
  5. Empty Road Acoustic The Fine Art of Falling Apart!!!! Folk Singer If you're willing to blur the lines of 'acoustic' Casual Walks, Heather's Like Sunday and Go Fly Blind are fantastic songs as well. Edit: And dude, don't leave Fated off, it's a gorgeous song.
  6. Yeah, HTB is a good song that happened to get a little too popular for it's own good. I don't blame it though. heh, also, on one of the bootlegs I have of HTB you can sort of hear me singing it in the background, which is really cool to show to friends and family.
  7. Holy shit, the more I listen the more I love. Having the lyircs handy makes me appreictae it much better, though I sort of liked it when I heard it as You're gonna get what you deserve and not a burning less but thats just nitpicking. An awesome song, and I hope its an indicator of the new album's direction.
  8. Hahahaha! Yes to Dracula 3000! Have you read the review of it on Something Awful? It'll make you love (hate) that movie even more. My friends and I read the review and then HAD to see it just because it sounded so stupid. And if I ever see a copy of "Pocket Ninjas" I'll definatly grab that. Dracula 3000: http://www.somethingawful.com/articles.php?a=2663 Pocket Ninjas: (I reccomend everyone to read this, as it is hilarious.) http://www.somethingawful.com/articles.php?a=2307
  9. Yeah, you're right, it was a children's book, it's just the previews made it look like a LotR style movie, which it most certainly was not.
  10. Yeah, it's an excellent song. I really like the parts where the drums have like....a prominence. Where they just start being louder and everything else takes kind of a back seat for one bar. The chorus feels a little reperitive, and when the song was over I felt like I'd heard the phrase "Black Helicopter" way too many times, but it's an excellent sogn and I love it. I bought it off the NF store and saved it, but I couldn't extract the files properly and the store won't let me buy a new one. I'm sure Anton can verify that I DID indeed buy one, but does someone mind hooking me up with a copy? I'll give whoever does 5 NF dollars if it's considered innapropriate to ask for items on the store, but I don't really know the rules behind tht sort of thing. Thanks.
  11. If not, keep it that way. Personally, I found that the movie felt as if it was geared towards a much younger audiance, and there was some very bad acting, dialogue and plot devices utilized. The final battle scene was decent, but honestly, it wasn't worth the $12.00.
  12. Personally, I love getting wasted. Those who haven't tried it should just get shitfaced with their friends one night and realise how fun it is. Weed, to me, is stupid. I've tried it numerous times with friends, and it honestly has NO effect on me whatsoever. Just a waste of time and an excuse for people to eat a ton under the excuse of 'yo guy, I got the munchies like mad." It's stupid. I've only tried shrooms once, but it was an incredible experiance. My buddy and I had about 5 grams each, and for the first half an hour or so, nothing happened. I was lying on his basement floor waiting for something to happen, and then out of nowhere I was just like "hey man, when did you get a battleship?" as I was staring at his cieling. So we spend the next few hours wandeirng around his house just staring at shit, and close the night by watching Fantasia. I wake up the next morning feeling completly 100% normal, and it remains as one of my favorite nights ever. It's such an interesting effect. Everything just moves and fluctuates, and you can literally just stare at things and watch these crazy little hallucinations unfold. It's very intresting and trippy.
  13. heh, whenever I think of a moustache I just thing of one of those curly french-style ones. And you can pull on one end and it immediatly rolls back like a pig's tail.
  14. Yep, I agree as well. When it was released as a single I HATED it. The album version just seems too long and droning to me. Every word is friggin stretched out into infinity. Say hello, remmmmmmmmmmmmmaaaaiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnn A rat, in your bbrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiinnnnnnnn What would you sssaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy if we lived on TV? we're stuuuuuuuuuucccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk inside our own machines apppppppppaaaaaaaaarrrrriiiiiiitttttiiiiiiiiiiiiiiooooooonnsssssssss I dunno, I just don't like. That said, the IAC version and the solo version he plays at his shows is much better.
  15. Holy shit I just wanna see Bush live. Too bad they're broken up. So I'd say Sonata Arctica as an opener, and then Bush and Matty doing a battle-of-the-bands sort of thing (which Matty would win, but Bush is still fucking wicked.)
  16. White Light for being so upbeat. Plus, It's Been Awhile Since I Was Your Man is the perfect sogn to sing aloud while you shower and gel your hair and stuff.
  17. On another note, does anyone know the lyrics to the acoustic intro? I wrote them out as When do you call home? Is it underneath the sky? It won't leave you alone If only it was raining water And not no educated bones Cuz it's some other man's business Some other man's wrong And what do you call a friend How come the best of them ain't people? And by definition dogs instead? Lackluster lives of buying shit They won't cry when you're dead Too far too fast too little Too late they say ain't it but that could be wrong in a few places.
  18. Guys, I thought the drumming sucked in I/O too, but it's just really subtle. I play the drums, and there's actually some very funky stuff going on in most of the songs, it's just difficult to detect unless you're a drummer trying to play it perfectly. Listen to Drug Induced. The accents are in places you wouldn't expect, and the kcik is pretty awesome. And I think Come Over is the best song on that album, though Alarm Bells and The Auctioneer are good too. Also, that combined version someone posted earlier with both intros is awesome. Thanks!
  19. Oh, I think you do ;);)
  20. Holy shit, I love it. I forgot how much I liked Limblifter. How many albums do they have? All I have is the I/O one plus the 3 songs off of Bellaclava.
  21. No, I knw how you feel. I like his just as much as I like mine.
  22. Hmmm, I like this interpretation as well, and I think that message comes accross a lot strogner in the low quality B-Side recording of the song, but if you listen to the right live versions, when he's singing the final chorus, the energy he puts into it makes it seem unlikely that he's talking about lying down and accepting your fate. I still feel ike he's trying to send a message. To stop 'running' if you want to avoid the pain of getting shot in the back. It's all choices.
  23. Dude, you got to have sex, then have 3 days off from any and all conversation. Where's the downside here?
