I don't like how it's just a 'standard' rock album. No slow haunting songs like Cold Contagious or Synapse and no eccentric, really paranoid sounding ones like Tendency to Start Fires.

Hahaha yeah man. Most of my classes end around 9-9:30, and there's few people around, so I fuckin belt it out. Keep in mind I took vocals for 2 years and sang in a band for awhile, so it's not THAT ridiculous. I have gotten some funny looks from people that I didn't notice were within earshot though, and that's always slightly embarassing... But honestly, who cares?

The Rodchester Kings (holy shit!) - Full Moon in Pisces

Yeah, Razorblade Suitcase, Sixteen Stone and Science of Things were all awesome. I liked their 'hit' songs (like Swallowed) and some more weird stuff like English Fire and Insect Kin. Ah good old Bush... That said, Institute isn't bad they're just not mind blowing. I'm a big fan of Bullet Proof Skin, When Animals Attack and Ambulances. The other songs just never really strike me at all.

I sing Advertising on my long-ass walks home from school. It's more of a 'holy shit I'm freezing how much longer?' sort of song to me, as opposed to a 'awww how refreshing.'

Yeah most of these names are just kinda 'meh.' I was gonna name my band Disastrophe, whichI thought was pretty cool (btw its still being considered so dont steal it biatches.) Oh, and an interesting story about the Goo Goo Dolls as they were mentioned before): They used to be called the Sex Maggots long before they made it big, and their label at the time amde them change it. So one day they got drunk and saw a magazine add for a 'Goo Goo Doll.' ALl of the band members hate the name, wish they could change it, and think it has afected their success and album sales (ie: they think they would have done better with a different name.) Hahaha, and they said this a little whole back, so slightly before they were as popular as they are now. I did them for some music project...3 or 4 years ago?

I have the CDs, the book, and a hoodie. I'd really like a friggin poster, but they're impossible to find.

Yeah it was pretty interesting. Some of the stories didn't really amaze me, but overall it was very well done. I also like some of the subtle song references (as he probably turned some pieces of these stories into pieces of songs) as you can see with things like the character named Mr. Chips.

I remember when I was a lot younger, like 10-12ish, and whenever I'd start thninking too deep about space and origins and stuff, asking questions like 'when did the universe 'start', or where are it's boundaries?' tears woukld literally start streaming down my face.
