  1. I have different variations of the Canadian, US and German versions. And I don't mind the track listing on any of them. But if I had to choose which one to buy I'd prefer the Canadian release since I already have the other songs on Underdogs. Just in case any one is wondering the track listing on the German cd is exactly the same as the Canadian release, just a different album cover.
  2. I had to vote Good Charlotte. I saw the guys at the airport in Berlin a few days ago. They were kind of dicks to the few fans that showed up at the airport to meet them. But I guess if I had fat, ugly, fake goth fans like they do, I probably wouldn't go to out of my way to be overly excited to talk with them.
  3. I would go but I am deathly allergic to all age shows.
  4. This is probably my favorite movie ever. Very touching. You actually felt the horror of the awful situation. Adrian Brody truly deserved the Oscar.
  5. Sam headlined the show, the opener was a local Portland act that remeinded me of an accoustic Sister Hazel sound. Sam was awesome. There was only about 35-50 people at the club but he played like he was entertaining a stadium crowd. Some people showed up that didn't even know Sam's music. I made a new friend that came because of a review he read in one of the weekly entertainment papers. All the non-Sam fans were soon converted. The band did not disappoint. Sam's brother drove with Sam from Seattle to see the show. Sam pulled his embarrassed brother up on stage to play the bongos I think for Brother Down. After the show the band talked with fans and I had them sign my vinyl. I got pictures and I hope they turned out. It was an amazing night.
  6. I came to Portland today to see the Sam Roberts show. I got to meet the band. Sam was a really nice guy and we talked about Canadian music, his tour with The Hip among other things. He and the band were very appreciative to see that people in the States do listen to Canadian artists. I can't wait to see the show tonight. He is headlining at a smaller club and the show only costs 8 dollars. A lot less than what I paid to see him at The Commodore. I don't think it will be a large turnout tonight after Sam jokingly said that he would be doing a private show for me. Hopefully with the re-release of his cd on a different label as well as the increased exposure from his tour with The Hip he will get the recognition he deserves in the States.
  7. I have a t-shirt Rich gave me that was made at the time they were shooting the Anti-Pop video. On it is a picture of the bodies of Destiny's Child with the faces of Matt, Rich, Dale E.Jr, and the Garden gnome. It was one of those shirts that you make in Vegas.
  8. If you like Rammstein, you should also check out Oomph! www.oomph.de the website is in both English and German. The band had a number 1 song this year with the single Augen Auf! The rest of the disc is pretty good as well.
  9. I just bought 2 cd's by the band Camouflage. Can't think of the titles of the albums though. I bought some German bands on Ebay but don't remember which ones.
  10. Since we are talking chocolate bars, Why does the US not have orange or strawberry flavored Kit-Kats? I always have to stock up when I go to Vancouver.
  11. Bands I have seen: The Smiths MGB Catherine Wheel The B-52's James Haven't seen: Muse - But I will see at KROQ Inland Invasion Nena Peter Schilling Nirvana - Had tickets, missed because my friends are lame Hawksley Workman
  12. I'd be happy with a video compilation.
  13. I was going to fly up to see her at the Commodore this Tuesday, but I got called into work on Wednesday. I think she is amazing. I love all her work, even with 'til tuesday.
  14. Sonic Temple is on Yonge Street in Toronto. If I can remeber correctly, didn't CFOX do something similar with the BM album cover. I think I have a picture of it somewhere.
  15. I was at a dance club once in Victoria, they played Rico, later in the night they played Hello Time Bomb. I was so excited because I live in the States and never get the opportunity to dance to MGB. It was cool to see the reaction to the song from the clubbers. I went to a club in Tucson, Arizona to see a concert. Out of nowhere on the sound system, they started playing Hello Time Bomb. I just about shit my pants. And just to add my 2 cents, I really hope Empty Road become the next single. It has the making of becoming a Canadian classic.
  16. I am looking for all the MGB/MG videos. I already have most of them downloaded on a disc, but am missing a few. Does anyone know where I can find them? I'm also looking for the MGB Spotlight on Much part 1 and the Munich concert that was on the internet in 2000. Anyone have any of these? Andrew from Phoenix
  17. I let someone borrow it it and she never returned it. But I would have to say one of the best cd's from last year. Andrew
