I almost went to the show in Vancouver. I flew up for The Hidden Cameras show and saw they were playing the night before. Sadly I didn't go. They will be touring the States soon though. They are playing them on the radio here, so I'm hoping for a Phoenix show. -

I love them. I'd go to the show but I don't think I'd fit in with the crowd. -

Oomph! are great. One of the best rock albums this year for sure. If you like Rammstein, there's a chance you might also enjoy Oomph! For starters try the song "Augen Auf!" -

I almost picked it up. But I just bought a ton of of cd's and I had to leave something off the list. I guess I wasn't a big fan of the song Amerika. Maybe because it was so overplayed when I was in Germany in October. I will get it eventually when I can find it used. I do however love German bands both that sing in English and German. It used to be that I loved discovering Canadian bands, but now I love to discover new German bands just as much. -
Because they are the most conservative news channel in the States. I can't stand watching it either. Then on the other hand I can't stand listening to someone like Michael Moore rant either. I'm pretty much a middle of the road kind of person.

I really liked his last cd. I flew up to Van to see his show and bought his other discs, but they were not near as good as the last one. It was a great show though. -

I have only heard of them when I asked some of the Sam Roberts Band to recommend some Canadian bands. They mentioned them as well as The Sadies and Death From Above. I will be looking fot the cd's when I come up to go cd shopping in Vancouver next week. -

What a total bitch she was to try to place the blame on her band, saying they played the wrong song. Don't you think they would remember which song they arlready played? -
My friend in Germany loves vampire movies so I have been subjected to more than enough of them. I really liked The Lost Boys and Shadow of the Vampire. In Interview with the Vampire the scene where the guys licks the razor that Tom Cruises character cuts himself on freaks me out. I can bearly watch it.

I used to post on the metro but I thought it was long gone. Are you sure it's still around?

I really do love the Jimmy Eat World catalogue, but let me tell you the new cd is absolutely spectacular. It just may bump The Killers out of my favorite cd for 2004's year end list. I think the Clarity fans who were put off by the popiness of Bleed American will like this cd a bit more. If you get the cd, make sure to get the deluxe digipak version with cd 2 featuring the demos of all the songs on the album. I wasn't expecting the album to be this good. What do you other JEW fans think of the disc?

The Fox network and Fox news network may be under the same parent company but they have completely different target groups. My dad is conservativa and loves to watch Fox News, however he would never in his life be caught watching the trashy shows on the Fox network.

Edgefest '99 at UBC in Vancouver. I think during MGB they were throwing ice cream bars out to the crowd.

Lately I've been into new cd's by: Roman Fischer (German import) Trashcan Sinatras Snow Patrol Hidden Cameras (I haven't actually heard the newest cd yet, but I saw the concert in Berlin and it was amazing) -

Green Day SUCKS ASS!!!! They are a whiner band too. "Do you have the time to listen to me whine" No I don't but thanks for asking. -
Do you have Much Retro on your cable/satellite system? I am looking for someone that can possibly put in a vcr tape and let it record until the end to send to a friend of mine. She is a big fan of older Canadian bands and I got her into a lot of newer Canadian bands. She will pay for the cost of the tape and shipping to the States.

Also in the USA there is a college, a place where people that know how to spell, type and use proper grammer go to. By the way, I love Canada too!

The Dream Academy did a great cover of that song. -
No. He's not popular enough here to play SNL. They usually only have multi-platinum selling artists, cheesy pop groups or cutting edge critical darlings play SNL. Plus he doesn't have a record label down here, so I doubt there would be anyone encouraging NBC to book him.
