  1. I haven't ever met him, per se, but I have one of those felt things that goes on top of a drum set used at the last Western Fair show in London Ontario, 2002 I think. (That's right, I'm that cool). My friend got it for me, apparently Matt and his then-drummer threw it at each other after the show and he scooped it. But he's the one that that got to meet MG, he kicked a soccer ball around with him before the same London show, for which I am forever jealous. But then Matt inadvertently stole his booklet for the Underdogs CD, which was left in his tour bus for him to sign, unfortunately for my friend he never went in there to sign anything and left straight-off. So it's give and take. That is all.
  2. The best idea I've heard in a long time. I hope he'll actually do it, and also tour in London Ontario (hint hint). But that kind of show would be worth travelling to see. Would there also be an acoustic opener? Because that'd be sweet too. That is all.
  3. To whoever said Enjoy the Silence: That song should be excluded because it is a Depeche Mode cover instead of an original song. That is all.
  4. Ok, personally I don't think MG is about the singles, and I find many of his best songs weren't released as singles, so creating a best-of collection filled almost entirely with singles is misguided to say the least. That is not to say that there aren't a few singles that deserve to be on there, simply that the majority should include his best work rather than what we get bombarded with on the radio. Henceforth, my nominations for a reasonable 14-track compilation (trying to give play to each release): 1. Hello Time Bomb 2. In Love With a Bad Idea 3. Flashdance II 4. Apparitions 5. Fearless 6. The Fall of Man 7. Avalanche 8. Prime Time Deliverance 9. Strange Days 10. Generation X-Wing 11. Man of Action 12. Weapon 13. The War is Over 14. Change of Season That is to say, that should be the track list if a best-of had to be released, although I'm against an actual best-of album per se. Releasing best-of albums is a ploy of has-beens used to make more money or regain some of the attention that they miss. MG is neither superficial-attention seeking or a has been, and should opppose such a best-of collection at least until he does retire from music, which, hopefully, won't be any time soon. That is all.
