  1. Not to sound biased, but that Matt Good guy knows how to throw a b-side party as well.
  2. Someone download Devon's ringtone, I have to know what it is. It implies that his voice comes out of your phone. Someone has to do it.
  3. LOOK OUT THAT BABY'S GOT YOUR FINGER!
  4. I hope it evolves so that it doesnt take me two minutes to explore all of it.
  5. Doesn't count. He had a starring roll which wasn't funny just because it's that actor with a funny twist, a la Will Ferrel as "The Dragon."
  6. yes, as well as Anchorman, Dodgeball, Starsky and Hutch, Old School and no doubt more that I'm missing. But please note I find these all rather humourous.
  7. The Aristocrats thinks your friends look stupid.
  8. Great movie. Really refreshing to see a funny movie that wasn't full of inside jokes and cameos.
  9. They aren't exactly meaningful either. Unless I've missed something.
  10. I voted Arrested development jsut because it could always use the support. And it's the best. But Scrubs and The Office are a VERY close second in my books. Tied for first even.
  11. I figured they would. I bought TDS in surround anticipating to one day own a proper system for it.
  12. I thought this guy didn't even remember 1989. His life story is flawed. I'm never listening to his music again.
  13. They shouldn't have given away all their money, they could certainly stand to give away a great portion of it though. What they could have done though, was realize that being a part of the seeming BS War Child thing is the least a canadian pop star can do. Were I, lets say... Cone, I would opt to stay behind and help the Locals rebuild when the fighting stops, or whatever else a foriegner can do in such a situation.
  14. What 4? Because in the case of MG(B) I can't see music like WLRRR or Underdogs making much a difference. But then I have some surround CDs but have no means of using them, so who am I to say? The Rat Who Would be King that's who.
  15. Ha. Sorry I didn't actually notice you did that. I was just being weird. Since I missed it, you're forgiven. I hope Derek and Avril live hapilly ever after.
  16. Something with those little hidden sounds, ie. Avalanche or AOB, but the others wouldn't be worth it.
  17. I find it fun to use that same Killers logic to come up with other bits of brilliance, ie. I've got pie but I'm not a pirate. You can play along as well kids! How about "I've got a hot wife, no talent and a nasty coke habit, but I'm not Raine Maida" I guess it is kinda catchy though.
  18. I think comparing a song that says "yeah, yeah" about 5 times as it ends, with a song that uses "come on" about 20 times as one of the main parts of the song, and does so several times, also doesn't need to be taken seriously. I'd also like to point out "hey! you!" "where are you? Where are you!?"(x20 fo r the chorus) "This could be the best day(x10)...of our lives!" etc. Seems to me that they've caught on to The Killers technique of meaningless phrases repeated ad nauseam seems to make the kids dance. I've hated OLP for a long time, but I still prefer them over MANY other bands, so I'm not just bashing the song because of some personal vendetta. Don't get all snippity there chum. If you find yourself singing along to this song, I think you need to seriously consider reassessing your life. P.S. Please note I'm just horribly long winded and don't care about this subject in the least.
  19. Everytiem I hear the new song ont he radio I am outraged that it even makes it on to the air. It is very, very bad. THis is my opinion, but I believe that even those who do believe it is good are simply lying to themselves because they want to hold on to something from their childhood (Clumsy, which in hindsight, was horrible). Curse you for not realizing this and being responsible for me hearing that god aweful song at least once a day. I want my soul back.
  20. In Monster Magnet's "Space Lord" I hear the line "I drink from your tit, I sing your blues everyday" as "I drink from your tit, I see your boobs everyday." I like my version because it makes it seem like there's an unspoken "therefore" where the comma goes.
