that's why the shootout sucks.it's by far the dumbest change. they changed the game to please fans who don't appreciate hockey, that's what pisses me off. shootouts are fun to watch, of course, but it's not a good way to decide a game. can you imagine games being decided by a shootout in the playoffs?! that's fucked. those teams like anaheim, carlina, florida, and tampa all got to the final by winning in overtime. I remember a quadruple overtime between anaheim and detroit a few years ago. it took a long time but they earned it. suspense is what makes things exciting. instant gratification is less satisfying, thta's why action movies generally suck. Those sudden death goals are what hockeys all about, and now they're gone because americans are lazy.

the Lord of the Rings trilogy, easily one of the most over-rated in recent years. These movies deserved the hype regarding their special effects, but that's all. The movie was what, nine or ten hours, and it still had the worst character development I've ever seen. I was bored to tears. napoleon dynamite was an awsome movie. "funny" is completely subjective.it had a lot of random jokes.that's the point. it was a creative change of pace from the usual slapstick format ( i.e. jim carey, will farrell, rob shnyder )."a joke is just another word for surprising people"- paraphrasing george carlin. I can't speak for anyone else, but that movie format doesn't surprise me anymore, which makes them boring. Napoleon came out at a time when people were just bored with the normal "funny" movies, that's why it was successful. Napolean buying the D-qwon's dance grooves tape is a little more funny than, "oh will farrell is yelling again".

batman returns is possibly the best batman ever made, it's also among the best comic book movies. I agree with everything else though, daredevil might be the worst movie I've ever seen, same with batman and robyn.

the whole point of signatures is that they're supposed to be distinguishable pieces of identification. no bank would accept that signature. his signature consists of multiple strokes of the pen atleast.even if he was writing them quickly he'd still have to make those motions for it to be authentic. what you have is a squiggly line.it's not a signature, even if matt did write it. maybe he got tired, but that's no excuse to just, stop signing.

I a couple questions. first off, would I be wasting my time purchasing a digidesign program, or anything else, without a decent sound card? I don't have a sound card, just stock , whatever came with my computer. secondly, how much would I need to spend to get a decent recording interface? I don't need a million friggin layers, just a few. I downloaded the pro tools freeware but it has a terrible user interface and I can't figure it out. I'm not even sure that it works. thirdly, I have to spend atleast, what, 150 bucks to get a good mic? If that's the case I might aswell forget recording altogether for now. the only thing I have going for me is I have good equipment and a good computer.

I'd do one, but I don't have a decent enough setup to record. I want to do an acoustic man of action, but I can't sing it quite well enough, and I prefer doing it in one take rather than mixing. can I ask everyone what they use to record?
