  1. I'd want to meet Einstein, boink Audrey Hepburn, imprison Marx and kill the virgin Mary
  2. that's tough but I vote apparitions. strange days is actually very similar to apparitions.some similarities include the song composition, folky intro, introduction for an intro(say hello, good morning) aswell as a very similar video. So, these things make strange days seem less original. Apparitions is just classic MGB.
  3. yeah, it's not even a real place and the movie is playing here! what does that tell you about peterborough? hahah, peterborough is exotic. I go there to camp and fish
  4. cohen's a comedic genius. it's much like The Big Dirty insofar as it's like one long episode of Borat. I thought there was atleast some sort of line that Cohen wouldn't cross, but no. some parts weren't quite as funny as the show. They tried too hard to be "funny" at different points and it made the jokes obvious and less effective. I expected that so it's no big deal. my only complaint is that the moron beside me sucked his teeth throughout the entire movie.
  5. I'm fairly certain the entire series has already been plotted out and is meant to last 6 seasons. Season one was 42 days (island time). Season two was 23 days, and well, you get the idea. Things have been answered, its just that quite often, those answers lead to more questions. And I'm going to have to agree that the backstories to the characters are my favourite part as well, seeing what lead them to acting the way they do and such. what's the common demoninator shared by the survivors?
  6. hahah, Warne Livesey ? he's an amateur hacker in his spare time and he's just razzin' matt, right?
  7. I just complain a lot. question: do you think Juliet has had plastic surgery? I keep thinking "face-lift" every time I see her character. her nose looks weird too.
  8. sounds like too sweet a deal. he must have two-way mirrors in every bathroom, or something
  9. it's hard to suspend reality when it becomes increasingly apparent that the new questions are more about the producers milking the success of the show and less about a storyline.
  10. I'm going to Wonderland tonight! haunted house, no waiting in line... ;)
  11. they're all melodramatic. it's just that sayid ususally isn't on screen long enough for you to get sick of it
  12. they're one one of the biggest rock acts around, fronted by a guy who was in a band that changed music as much as or more than anyone else in our generation. their folk influence and acoustic catalogue should do well opening for dylan. it's a nice blend of old and new, I think
  13. the thing is though, people give compliments but they're less likely to criticize. they aren't gonna say anything if they think it smells bad. I never really differentiated between smells. I always jsut looked at it as though there were two kinds of people, people who chose to smell and people who chose not to smell
  14. this show will likely be done before the bush administration. perhaps a bit of sweet justice

  16. I loved it cause it was just one big episode, but if I weren't already into the show I probably wouldn't have enjoyed it.
  17. I'll go as the stingray if you go as Irwin
  18. I don't understand why bands keep hiring him. I've always thought it must have something to with the fact that his last name is "Rock".
  19. great idea! I'm raphael...called it first
  20. it's anton's call. if I were you I'd make the banner "The Big Dirty" with three different antons, bubbles-anton, julian-anton and ricky-anton
  21. good job. from what I've seen so far JsunC's team is gonna pull away from the rest. 23. Madam, you, without a sense of humour and far too tightly wound over entirely unserious comedic material, are the one with the issues in this thread. Actually, Sir, laughing at things that should make any person with a heart want to weep has nothing to do with being too tightly wound. It's deplorable how vile this thread has become, whether it's meant in a joking manner or not. Some things just aren't fucking funny. Just because your sense of humor is tasteless, it doesn't mean mine is lacking. Before you decide to make another uneducated retaliation to this comment, I will be kind enough to let you know that I won
  24. what's worse than 10 dead babies in two dumpsters? 2 dead babies in 10 dumpsters.
  25. well it's the humidity that clears your sinus's. taking a shower - like spritzup said - does the exact same thing except it's easier.
