  1. I don't know... give any nation global dominance, and it won't take long for them to start abusing it. That said, Deutschland all the way.

    Hub Trouble

Thanks for the link, but... "Before entering the hub, make sure you have a minimum of 250MB of Matthew Good files. You will be warned and time-banned if you do not!" 250mb of stuff is... er.... a lot. At a typical compression rate, that's about 50 songs.

    Hub Trouble

If I've ever seen a way to incite post whoring, that's gotta be it. ;)
  4. Hmm... I don't mean to sound like a complete idiot, but when you say register, do you mean registering for the Hub itself, or for the DC++ client in general? Because I don't remember registering when opening the client for the first time, and I don't see a "register for the hub" thing popping out at me.
  5. The PDF doesn't show text for me... all I see are these yellow bars, covering up all the text.
  6. Your name isn't ghettoastronaut, by chance, is it? I was trying to bid on one, but it ended at 1:23 am, and I got outbid by a buck, in my sleep.

    Hub Trouble

I'd like to know how to log into the Hub in the first place.
  8. Didn't he also say he wanted to travel to 12 cities, write a song there, record it in a hotel room, then spend a week in Jerusalem and record a whole album there, and then release it as a double-CD? I mean, not that I'm against it, but...
  9. E And just so you know I'm serious, http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/store...9455480-3096666
  10. This is one of those things that record procers delete from their resume....
  11. Last time I checked, people have the right to breathe in clean air. It really saddens me that people getting paid hundreds of thousands of dollars a year put their efforts to useless crap like this.
  12. I second jackpillowhead.
  13. Is there a password you need to connect? It asks me to supply a password, and seeing as there's no password required for my DC++ thing, it must be to log into the hub. Anyone know what it is?
  14. MMmmm, post 35. Now, where's my 50th NF$? I want "Can't get shot in the back..."
  15. Agreed, if people don't like the music, they don't have to listen to it.
  16. Come to think of it, I don't watch many movies, and I can't say that I actually cried. Although I did tear up at the end of the Return of the King, although that was quickly replaced by laughter as I saw my mom wiping her eyes.
  17. One of my favourite books... Hangman by Michael Slade. It's a pretty cool mystery/thriller book, a bit graphic in parts (example: a falsely convicted prison inmate gets castrated in a prison riot, though not overly obscene), and it really did fascinate me. 1984 by George Orwell, though it's probably a compulsory read. Not to mention IT by Stephen King. Ridiculously long ( longer than your average bible), but I still enjoyed reading it. Wasted a whole summer on that.
  18. Even though I'm not a fan of the potter books... I'll say Hermione, she's most likely to become a love interest, and would therefore make the most... er... plot-filled death.
  19. The only album I've bought this year was WLRRR. Though I've got a 50 dollar gift certificate to HMV, I'm thinking of picking up Limblifter, and after reading though the thread, I'm inclined to get Wilco "A Ghost is Born" and Interpol's "Antics".
  20. The price I saw at maplemusic was the same price for other sites... plus, MapleMusic is currently out.
  21. http://www.insomniacpress.com/title.php?id=1-894663-08-X http://www.chapters.indigo.ca/item.asp?Ite...on=books&zxac=1 There you go.
  22. I've got a Hotmail account with 250 mb of storage, yeah. So, if anyone has any HT songs on them, care to send them to [email protected] ?
  23. In the Amnesty International club at my school, one of the girls has a sticker on her agenda which has a picture of the Pope with the caption, "Official Sponsor of Aids". I think I'd like a copy of that sticker. I go to a Catholic school, by the way.
  24. I'm completely against it. It's not going to work, and it's useless. An anti-missile shield wouldn't have worked on September 11th, even if they were missiles that flew into the WTC and Pentagon (yes, I'm aware of the missile-hit-the-pentagon theory). Even though the anti-missile shield was an idea brought about as an election promise, it's not going to work. Bush wants to re-build alliances (or at least try to), yet wants to install an anti-missile shield around the Arctic? People won't like it.
  25. I think this is one of the greatest ironies of all time. Non-Christians don't, for the most part, get offended when someone says "Merry Christmas", or sends them a card saying that, or something to that degree. Yet when Christians are in the position of being told "Happy Holidays", they get up in arms about it, running scared that their culture is about to be destroyed. I don't get it.
