  1. Tip: Methamphetamines work way better than energy drinks. Give Adderall a try... it's available over the counter, helps you focus like nuts for hours and hours, non-addictive, and you can still get a regular eight hours of sleep and wake up just dandy. http://www.slate.com/id/2118315/ EDIT: it's not available over the counter? what the hell was i thinking?
  2. Yeah, coincidence. People suck, no mystery there.
  3. Can I ask how people get into relationships with people that are so wrong for them? Really.
  4. What if we all had magical powers and could read people's minds and dissapear when we wanted to and we could eat an infinite number of cookies without gaining weight? Man, that'd be so awesome. But really, to be a big-league politician, you have to be a sociopath. There's no other way.
  5. I ROFLed at that for hours, then went to the hospital. And in addition to ecnarf's words, another thing responsible for the anti-American sentiment is what I see as the predominantly 'right wing' bias of American media, or maybe the lack of a middle grounds. Turning on CNN or any news show on a major network can be infuriating when you see the lack of journalistic responsibility in filling the role of 'fourth estate.' What's even worse is the way people seem to equate "fair and balanced" with "showing both sides of the issue". PBS was recently mandated to have more conservative personalities in the name of balance. That's just riduculous. Fair and balanced doesn't mean giving both sides of the issue equal air time, it means calling bullshit for what it is! If a news story is damaging to conservatives these days, it's impossible to escape being labeled as liberal because equal time wasn't given to the idiot who was sent out to lie and try to spin the story to the advantage of republicans. I won't try and be altruistic and say the media should report the "truth", but the fierceness to which republicans are willing to hold on to their fallacious beliefs is absolutely ridiculous, and they are unwilling to let anyone else go without knowing about how the recent explosions in Baghdad prove that democracy is on the march.

    My Sex

I'll call Spritzup's wager and raise him a larger penis!
  7. Ah, so you were the chap who posted about the same girl in Sticky Situations? At least you boned her while you had the chace. ;)
  8. I hate the way people (see: conservatives) often accuse various media outlets of having a liberal bias when they don't praise the Glorious Conservative Cultural Revolution. The Fraser Institute recently assigned the CBC responsibility for anti-American sentiments in Canada. What a load of crap. The U.S. government is responsible for anti-American sentiment in Canada.
  9. No, Lauren is just very manipulative.
  10. There is a 50% divorce rate because people marry the wrong people in the first place and forget to realize that when you get married your spouse comes first and not the guys/girls or shopping or sports or what have you. I guess people forgot how to be in a relationship. Or maybe there is a higher divorce rate because now that more women have a sustainable income than 50 years ago, they don't have to stick with their husband if they want to eat, and these problems always existed. Fifty years ago, if the man in the household was abusive to the wife and kids, there likely wasn't an option for the woman. Nowadays, she can get out of there without being run into the poor house. Personally, I'm a little bit scared at the prospect of a relationship. I'd be way too insecure telling someone else how I feel or things that I wouldn't want other people finding out. Heck, I'd be insecure letting somebody else know that I like them or anything like that. ;) And it doesn't help matters that, living with my parents, they'd have to know about it all (something I'd be even less comfortable with). Yeah...
  11. Where have I heard that before?
  12. That's the best you can do? I hope it's sexy twister.
  13. I vote for your house.
  14. Would that explain the now 50% divorce rate among newly married couples?
  15. Thank you. When I say football, I mean the european version of football. The real football. I watch so much of it these days, I'm starting to call it football instead of soccer without meaning to.
  16. i kind of disagree. i mean, i agree that you need to convince the public that you know what you're talking about, but i think it has less to do with charisma, and more with age. the age of your party. not the HISTORY of your party, but how long you've been around for. harper was the leader of the canadian alliance, remember? how well did he do there as compared to how well he's done as a conservative. aaaah. time to bring my own politics in. 1st point: i think that the entire voting system is flawed. The Canadian Alliance was somewhat established, but the only reason anyone voted for them was because they changed their name from the Reform Party. Personally, I think that whole Stockwell Day mess should be collectively forgotten. What an embarassment.
  17. Why is it that people hang on to their girlfriends for so long? I'm so efficient at it, I get rid of needy girls before I even have a chance to bang them, thus proving how awesome I am. Perhaps some of you that have had a girlfriend could explain it to me.
  18. if thats not the definition of a man, then i don't know what is. The definition of a man depends on his affinity for engines of various types and the right kind of sports. Not those sissy sports, mind, but classy, sophisticated, European sports. F1 racing and football come to mind. Hockey is an exception. A man also has to be able to drive well so that nearby women won't be left stranded. And when I say football, I mean football football, not football. I think I've made myself clear.
  19. Everyone knows the Flying Spaghetti Monsters is the One and True Food Deity. Have you been touched by His Noodly Appendage?
  20. There is a thread about it either in the matthew good forum or the politics forum, started by me, where I give a link to the story. I was actually the one that had tipped Matt off to the goings-on. Although if my memory serves me, Matt's decision to end his association with MPH was due to something else which he discovered before the news about the wristbands being made in sweatsohps was discovered. He wasn't at liberty to discuss much of it, although there was reference to it being used as a tax shelter by rich people.
  21. You oughta get you a scooter. Or knobbly tires. Everyone loves knobs.
  22. His girlfriend is probably so stupid that you'd want to kill her or yourself within six months. But the head will be oh-so-worth it.
  23. That's not so much charisma as it is effective communication. None of them have it, really. None of them can hand talk effectively enough, and everything they say sounds fake.
  24. Technically, string theory isn't a theory. More of a hypothesis.
  25. I wouldn't know. How many concerts do you think I've been to lately?
