Harmon mutes are awesome because you can do the "wah wah wah wa-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-h" thing with them.

I've been intoxicated with tylenol 3's to deal with my 8 teeth getting pulled out. Why it's great: -less paranoid -everything more huggable -less irritable -low tolerance for stupidity -makes me dizzy and tired, perfect excuse to miss out on church -less paranoid did i mention i'm less paranoid? the more i think about it the more i realize that anxiety dominates my life and the more i realize that maybe something that could regularly ease the anxiety would be better.

My painkillers made Christmas quite the roller coaster. Do any of you know what it's like to want to honest-to-god kill your stereo? Because that's what I wanted to do today. I wanted to take a gun and shoot the goddamned stereo. If I had a gun, I'm not sure I would have been able to restrain myself. Because my dad's taste in Christmas music is akin to strapping a 10-grit piece of sandpaper, attaching it to a high-speed circular power sander and holding it against your face. And yet, I find most things more huggable than is probably normal.

Your mother.

That would come in useful in the summer.

Does Jesus count?

because, of course, having pictures of you in boxers makes you magnetically attracted to rapists.

My old fridge used to have the door close automatically. The newer one doesn't. I remember having to go and close the fridge door a lot.

I think he'd look pretty Jewish.

You must be thinking of the Apostles. St. Peter definitely traveled to Rome (he was sorta killed there), and I do remember mentions of trips to Spain, Africa and into the Asian continent on the parts of the Apostles, but definitely not Jesus.

When you say things like that, it makes me wonder if you've even read the Bible.

Actually it was Yeshua, Jesus was the translation of his name in either greek or roman. (can't remember which ;); ) You know, if you think about it, Jesus was kinda hot. (No matter how he looked) I mean, think about it, he wants to save your soul. That's pretty damned sexy. XD What the church doesn't tell you is that he's a zombie though. Think about it, he died, rose from the dead, that makes him UNDEAD. ZOMBIE JESUS. (Yeah, I have way too much time on my hands, I even have a zombie Jesus action figure that my boy made for me.) XD I believe the Latin name was something to the degree of "Iulius", as the letter J doesn't exist in Latin.

This reminds me of the best quote ever: "Everything in moderation, including moderation."

"martin Says Harper Has 'no Business' Becoming Pm"
ecnarf replied to Matt's topic in Politics and Debate: WRONG!
You're absolutely right, though. Harper, unlike Martin, has had over a decade's experience in the top cabinet position and delivered solid, consistent performance for the entirety of his tenure. -
it has absolutely nothing to do with salted cod, or fish of any type. Thanks for clearing that up. Now, if we can get back to the business of bacalao... it is excellent.

if you could refrain from calling my religion and way of life a myth, i'd appreciate that. i understand you believe that, but not everyone does, so don't state it like a fact because it's not. *ahem* I really hate to be this rude and offensive... but... www.thegodmovie.com presents some compelling evidence that it is. however, to be fair, I am quite sure that your way of life is not a myth. Otherwise, we'd all be having conversations that went along the lines of, "Many moons ago, there was a girl named Lauren that was said to frequent the Bored..." EDIT: Holy crap, we're way off track. The guy had originally said that the idea that Jewish / Muslims are offended by Merry Christas was a myth. I, however, don't really take too kindly to Merry Christmas... or well-wishing in general, for that matter. Especially when it coes from my relatives who think the earth is 6,000 years old.

I wish mistletoes were back in style.

I actually like to celebrate Saturnalia. Saturnalia was actually a Roman holiday which occurred the same time as our modern Christmas... but lasted for two weeks or something like that. That's why the Romans were far superior to us. Orgies were a matter of public policies, and two week long holidays dedicated to Saturn. Happy Saturnalia!

What's wrong with you? If you're out of regular sauce (the only acceptable form of which is your standard tomato), try using pesto. Failing that, just put some light-tasting extra virgin olive oil on there. Never salad dressing! Silly mangiacakes.

I say Merry CHRISTmas, because it makes baby jesus happy when I use his name to spite people who don't.

I read somewhere that he graduated high school in 1989... or there was some huge fight on new year's eve of that year, and he wrote a poem about it and it was split up into indestructible and giant (in the manifesto where he posted a bunch of poetry). But I think you're going a bit too semantic. I mean, think about it. What's with hello time bomb? Why a time bomb? or near fantastica - why can't he be near something else? Yikes. But you've got a point, though. I kinda like the abstract. The example of the xbox cointelpro from black helicopter is perfect - there's just no ambiguity.

Best Records Of 2005
ecnarf replied to borntohula's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
Twin Cinema was decent... but rather dissapointing and sometimes inconsistent. It's a sad day when I'm tempted to skip songs in an album. I did enjoy In A Coma, though.
