    Mg Rants

    I haven't heard of any. ;) I couldn't even find any on P2P either.
  2. I don't think I could ever meet Matthew Good. I have a lot of things I'd like to say and ask, but given the opportunity, I'd probably fluster and end up spewing a collection of verbal diarrhea. I don't think Matt would engage in sexual congress (hehe The Whole Nine Yards quote...I love it) with groupies or anyone aside from his wife. His personality (granted the one we see...we cannot be certain if he reveals his true self to us) doesn't mesh with that type of behaviour.
  3. Hard to choose. They are all pretty good.

Last time he was in Calgary was amazing too, especially when he singled out some punk in the audience for being rowdy. Good times!
  5. So...would you guys recommend it? I don't want to waste my money if it's not really up to par with the first.
  6. My favourite character is Jimmy. "I-I Ju-just fuh-lew into Sow-Sow-South Puh-Park...b-boy are muh...muh...muheye arms tuh-tuh-tuh-tuhired."
  7. Total number of movies seen in theaters in 2004 (by me)=2. haha I gotta get out more.
  8. Where he yells at people? Which one is that? The "you hit me right in the ****ing head" one?
  9. Four pages of posts about Jennifer? I don't know if she should be flattered or scared!
  10. If I recall, he didn't like the band. Anyone else remember him saying that it was constructed to further his career but he was happy when the band broke up? At any rate, he won't bring that band back together. I doubt Dave would join anyway.
  11. Both would be best, but if he only chooses one route, I don't care if he chooses to only go solo or only work with Ryan. One or the other is certainly better than neither.
  12. I've been to every one of his Calgary shows in the last 4 years. I sure hope he doesn't think I'm stalking him. ...Though if I only see him in Calgary, that makes me a really lazy stalker.
  13. Hey, Carmelina!
  14. I suppose if one wants to know if Matt suffers/suffered from a mood disorder (i.e. major depression), one could just ask him.
  15. I'm not a fan of M. Good v. M. Trolley. But that's because it has reduced volume. However, even the worst Matthew Good song is better than most good songs by other artists.
  16. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Spider-Man 2, or the Grudge. I loved all three.
  17. I've seen the four Japanese ones and the American remake. I'm a nerd.
  18. Star Wars. The 70s/80s trilogy of course...not the crapilicious episodes 1, 2 and 3.
  19. As video game adaptions, both were terrible. As zombie movies they were great. As eye candy, Resident Evil 2 was better...two scantily clad women are better than one!
  20. The movies that slip under the radar are often best, especially where comedies are concerned. I never heard of Office Space or Dead Man on Campus before I saw them, and I thought they were the funniest movies ever. Such overpublicized films as Meet the Fawkers and Napoleon Dynamite failed to deliver, the first because it was over-hyped, and the second because it sucked bum.
  21. Saved By the Bell is always on in the wee hours of the morning. So those sad days I have to be up at 6 for an 8AM final exam, I can catch an episode. A corny yet great show, if one can ignore the fact there is NO way in hell that "gang" would ever be friends in real life. Preppies, jocks, geeks, beauty queens, activists, tough-as-nails motorcyle chicks...they wouldn't mesh. A nice dream though.
  22. Scott Tenorman must die. That one was so good, especially when Cartman revealed that he made Scott eat his own parents in the chili.
  23. It didn't get enough publicity, which is why it never caught on. I quite enjoyed it though.
  24. What movie made me cry? Juon II (television version). Why? Because I had to import it and when I watched, I discovered that a third of the footage was the same as in Juon (TV). I was horribly ripped off. Furthermore, it made no sense. Boo! Oh and rmak, that was a tear-jerker in Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls. I thought I was the only one! haha
  25. Doctor Who is by far the greatest. Longest running sci fi show of all time and now that it's been revived for 2005, it (hopefully) may never die.
