I know its dorky, but I never saw anything wrong with Here I Go Again by Whitesnake Of course whenever i listen to it, i feel like i should be driving at night in the rain ;)

My rant is (was?) really directed at the conceited and pretentious people and artists of the world. thats it.

Artists and bands that fall in love with themselves and their image/ideaology. I think of Radiohead and, most recently, jack white and the white stripes. Quality bands, I admit, but what annoys me about them is when they pull bullshit like: - for one album, release a video for every song on it and tour extensively, but for the next, don't promote it, no video, and no tour. These bands forget what they are in it for, releasing albums that their fans love and enjoy. Its when bands pull this and the select fans buy into it when it becomes too much for me to bear. me - "oh, belle and sebastian, are they good? b and s (or any of aforementioned bands) fan - "oh....i'm sorry, i would explain it, but (pulls drag of cigarette)you just wouldn't (dramatic pause) get it" Thats my rant.

I have never met Matt, but i know if i did get a chance to meet him, he would be really nice and cool, and i would become the music spazz fan-boy that i inevitably turn in to. it happens whenever i get a chance to talk to a band. when i met Anton of the brian jonestown massacre, i got the band to sign a poster, and when he was signing it, i told him that he should make himself look like Gene Simmons with the permanent marker..... Where the fuck did that come from?????? But its usually me saying stuff that they hear from everyone... i'm your biggest fan i dig your sound you guys were awesome tonight .....*banging head against the wall*

I know that whenever I listen to I Miss New Wave and the part right after he sings about driving to LA comes on, I get chills. Same goes for Suburbia when the music just ends suddenly and you are left with the tone playing. Does this happen to anyone else, or am I in early stages of some form of cancer?

Color and the Shape era: 10/10 Now: 4/10 Really, color and the shape is one of the best rock albums I've heard in the 90s and Everlong is one of my favorite songs/videos, but since then I have been pretty unimpressed by what they have put out. Sex Pistols

That movie is easily the best one I've seen this summer and the best superhero movie I've ever seen. The scene with the ninjas and when the actor playing The Scarecrow responds to a guy asking, "who are we looking for?" with a simple, "the batman." both give me chills....cause their both awesome. *exiting fan-boy mode*

Anne Coulter speaks in sound bites and everytime she says the word Liberal, i swear, you can see tiny flames come out of her mouth. I saw her when she was on Craig Furgeson, and she can't not talk about politics and how conservatives are sooo much smarter than liberals. Furgeson asked her what music she listens to, which she replied, "oh, you think because I am a conservative, I don't listen to music?" He finally got her to admit to liking the Grateful Dead. He asked her if Marijuana should be legal...she said it doesn't matter, because if you want it in america, you can get it. Which leads me to believe that she partakes in that wonderful drug.

I told my boss at the music store about this. He's a huge Trag and Odds fan and got pretty excited. Do you know if they have an album recorded?

And I've come to an opinion, a...realization, if you may. Beautiful Midnight is one of the top 10, nay, top 5 best albums of the 90's? I think so. Let us all take a moment and reflect upon the beauty and awesomeness that is this album. Let us remember how we felt the first time we popped it in our respective cd players/stereos and we heard the cheerleading chant of Giant. The floor is open to anyone who wishes to express their opinions on this recording.

...That you've forgotten about. I've got to say that both Pluto releases are my personal favorites and they continue to blow me away with the lyrics and the guitars. Any others????
