Do you have any favorite cover songs that you feel are just a little bit better than the originals? Do you know any cover songs that are a lot worse than the originals and should be destroyed, never to be heard by another human being again? I really like the Beatles song Across the Universe...but Rufus Wainwright's cover of it is so goddamn great...i think maybe just a little better The hardcore band Throwdown's cover of Baby Got Back...so great Snake River Conspiracy's version of How Soon is Now...is very good Same goes for Richard Cheese doing his cover of anything....i really enjoy him doing Radiohead's Creep...not better, but on the same par... As for worst, I'll say Madonna's butchering of American Pie okay....anyone else??????

I actually had an impromptu Book Club with these two girls I recommend Perks to last night....they loved it and because I recommended it, it gives me extra "you are so sweet" points "i would die for you, but i won't live for you" "in that moment, we were infinite" "remembering a time when happiness was based on french fries" "i wanted your first kiss to be from someone who loves you" just a great book

the fact that all posters on this remember the commercials and are talking about them...only shows that they are successful commercials 5 years of studying for my advertising degree popping up...just had to point that out but my favorite commercial is the Verizon wireless where the guy is talking to the mafia guy....and the mafia guy says I thought i told you to come alone i did then who are they? *shows a large group of people with him* oh...that's my network really.... *pauses*.... do you get service out here? cause i'll tell you, i do a lot of business out here and its a crapshoot. do you guys work down by the docks? great/classic also the burger king ads...they're so cheesy....but i love them

Just wondered if this scenario had actually happened to anyone in life {Examples} 1) You always threw Stones at people at school .... now you are a Rock Climbing Instructor. 2) You were always the first to jump in the water on holiday as a kid .... now you are a Swimming Teacher. 3) You always played with/examined your food as a kid in a fussy way .... now you are a nutritionist. Myself? Whenever there was nothing interesting to watch on tv as a kid, I would watch commercials. Now I am an college graduate with a degree in Advertising. Anyone else?

I saw the International Noise Conspiracy at Varsity Theatre in St. Paul Minnesota tonight...and i can say...it is not only the best concert I have ever seen...I can safely predict it will be the best I will ever see. Something pretty awesome happened at the show. I was standing at the front right next to the stage. I had my hand on the stage and Dennis (the lead singer) was singing...he touched a person's hand on the left of the stage...and he came over to my side...took my hand and kissed it... that just blew my mind...because I have been a huge fan of theirs/his for going on 7 years now...but I always thought of him as a mythical musician on cd and music videos....but I had physical contact with him...and it was pretty awesome here's some pics I took with the camera on my cell phone. just an incredible show and...I will remember this one...

okay this will be a crapshoot, but maybe someone will know what i'm talking about so there was a video on muchmusic...i remember from a long long time ago..something like 8/9 years it was a slower song...and the video had this on part with a group of kids running through a forest i'm pretty sure the band was canadian it was a song i didn't like at the time...but my memory of it is kind of hazy...and i think i would like it now....cause you know....i have evolved musically and stuff anyway...if this is familiar the anyone (not likely) and you could tell me...it would be much appreciated thanks

when i was a kid, the family prayer was "thank you god, for this food, amen" but for some reason, i would say it "thank you god, fooda fooda men"
