  1. I like the original version too, but I kind have like the new beginning to it a lot, and it's not like Matthew Good's not still in it, just perhaps not as much as he was in the original.
  2. I haven't seen the original or the trailer for this one. But I found what seems to work for these remakes is doing something a little different with them like with "The Italian Job", "The Bourne Identity", "The Manchurian Candidate", "Charlie and The Chocolatte Factory"...
  3. It's on Limblifter's myspace page, it's similar to the Matthew Good + Ryan Dahle version, except the beginning has been changed and slight differences throughout the song.
  4. Twas a good show.
  5. Anyone watch 22 Minutes tonight? Peter MacKay was going on about how this government was brought down because of criminality and corruption and then said something along the lines of "in the form of Mr. Harper".
  6. I don't know about that because a lot of people seem to remember Stephenie's flipping out more, especially because Lydia kind have did it good natured like "I want to eat, I'm hungry".
  7. I kind have liked what Rob C said on the past Survivor's blog about how Stephenie though has kind have hurt her chances of winning by flipping on two of her allies so early in the game. Plus Bobby Jon does not really like her either, so she's got a few votes already going against her with two shows, and five people left. I wonder if people will kick her out before then though, because like Judd, she can kind have flip out at people like with Lydia on the previous show. Survivor is completely a game of keeping your cool, sort have like what Josie mentioned. So, I think next week will be an interesting ride for sure because anything or nothing can happen.
  8. Limblifter Danko Jones Madhat
  9. It was neither here nor there.
  10. I thought it was funny calling them scumbags for turning on them, when look what he did to Margaret and Brooke. He flip-flopped on them when he had a better deal. He probably didn't have all the information either, just what he assumed. Anyways, it will be interesting to see how the next couple shows shape out.
  11. Well at least Judd is finally gone! I've been hoping they'd get rid of him once he switched sides so easily. I think tonight's show was pretty interesting, and the final outcome I think came from Danni winning immunity. I think if she hadn't they would have voted her out and moved on from there. However, there was a bit of scramble of who to vote for tonight after that, so I think it was a bit of luck.
  12. A lot of it had a set up to it, so, I think it might be a bit diffcult to re-cap some of the actual jokes.
  13. I think Harper is the second of three evils, Martin being the lesser of all three. It was a stealh office in the PMO, if he said no to money requests from the PM he'd lose everything he had gained most likely. It's not incompetance he didn't know, it's he didn't know because this was something no one knew about. All the other parties have bad eggs too, Grewal's a Tory, Svend Robinson is an NDP. It's not like parties don't have bad eggs, it's the fact that the Liberals lost money, which seems more important then the loss of lives that the U.S. is currently losing.
  14. Parts of the show was live, but parts of it couldn't be, so they weren't. Though I thought it was funny how George kept laughing after the Richard Prier bit even with the time delay because the show had to be sent to Toronto and back.
  15. Actually B.C. has become quite the battleground now since there's lots of votes willing to go out to the Liberals, N.D.P., and Conservatives, so it's being monitored closely too.
  16. I wonder if Rafe and Cindy will talk to Lydia and Danni next week and make a new pact. I think it would be more interesting to see those four make final four now.
  17. I would have preffered to wait, but either which way it's all right really. I'm hoping to do some volunteering in this election too actually.
  18. Edit: Double post.
  19. I actually disagree about her being the best player. Look at Amy, she played through a really bad ankle, and managed to survive as long as she could. Also Rafe is winning all of the immunity challenges, not Stephenie. Since people seem to think she's the toughest women and all, I just feel like that's not true, I think there's been people like Amy who don't get their due. Stephenie did the same thing last year too. Remember when she voted for Bobby Jon and then told him it was someone else (James I believe)? She does what she can to win, last year she was just the underdog, so she seemed so much more golden I suppose. Where as this year, she's the one running the show.
  20. Well perhaps in some ways it's similar to other comedies out this year, but still I don't think that detracts from the comedy.
  21. I saw it recently, it was pretty funny actually.
  22. To some extent yeah. Like when Bobby Jon asked her to help him get to the jury she acted like she was doing so much for him, when she wasn't even planning on getting rid of him that night unless Brandon got immunity. She's also blunt and well I think blunt is more rude than truthful.
  23. She's trying to do everything to go to the end, which is okay and all, but I just wish she could do it another way.
  24. Did you see/hear Craig Northey (ex-Odds/Northey Valenzuela/Strippers Union...) on CBC Radio today?
  25. You shouldn't have responded to my post then! That part of my post was a joke. And the joke worked! There are certainly a lot more posts in this Gomery thread than the other Gomery thread i previously posted. I'd recommend u guys move this debate to another thread. I am not an NDP supporter. I have never voted NDP. But i think them a better alternative to run this country than the Liberals. If Svend Robinson was under investigation before he confessed to his crime then that would change things. Yes he is a thief, and I probably wouldn't vote for him. However there is a still a big difference in what Robinson did and what the Liberals have done. More or less, i see what Robinson did as a solitary immoral act done by one person in the NDP party. 1 bad apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch (as Donny Osmonde would say). However, if there were several NDP'ers who stole rings in some sort of scheme then that would be similar to what the Liberals had done (but in a much smaller scale), and my trust in the NDP would fall sharply. Svend Robinson and his buddies would have to steal a lot of friggin' rings to equal what the Liberals have stolen and/or wasted. Man, stealing is stealing. And actually I'd say that it was only a few bad apples in the Liberal party who committed the scandal.
