  1. Well, they were much worse when they were huge back in 95-96. They have an in your face attitude. Then again, a lot of punk bands and some rock n roll bands have the exact same demeanor.
  2. Like it or not, it was one of the most revolutionary shows in TV history...
  3. ...in the UK, yes. Rest of the world? No. FYI, I love Oasis. Was front row last concert in Montreal and they were mega...
  4. No offence, but big deal - most albums hit a wall at tracks 6 or 7. That's what separates them from being a great album. However, considering it's a debut album, it's very good nontheless... i wasn't looking for an editorial Simple comment, no editorial...

  6. Yes, it did. So does water...lol
  7. Ok. You don't understand: 'Smile Like You Mean It' is such an incredible song. "Save some face, you know you've only got one Change your ways...while you're young Boy, one day you'll be a man... Oh, girl...he'll help you understand" I definitely recommend that song to anyone that hasn't heard any Killers songs. Wow, they're good...
  8. Sorry for busting your balls!
  9. Actually, I was being sarcastic. Sorry about the mixup...
  10. Exactly.
  11. Stuff by the Dead Kennedys or Bad Religion. Good stuff..
  12. Just curious: it's the Reagan administration that initiated the backlash towards the UN, right???
  13. I remember back in 2001, a met someone in Ottawa at the 'Straights' show that paid $350 for a copy. Crayyyzzzy
  14. I'm not sure about a 'great' band. Let's see what happens to them after their number one hit gets drowned on the radio...
  15. What's this term 'acoustic' that you use? Sorry......hehe
  16. Actually, he's quite a good blues player. I was watching his bio (had nothing better to do) and his guitar playing goes back years. I saw footage of him jamming with BB King and he said himself that Segal is very talented and was one of the people that encouraged him to make an album.

Not to mention, he's not a big fan of the country right now (understatement). I don't really think that's fair to say. I hate the American government just as much as the next Canadian, but it's not fair to say that's a factor in his not touring the States. I bet that if money weren't a factor, he would still tour America. And again, what is FTP? I don't think so. He's said many times that he doesn't need to prove himself to the States and doesn't care if he doesn't sell any records down there. Do you know how many people with regular jobs choose not to work in the States just because of everything that is going on? I believe that Matt's opinion on the States clearly has some sort of factor on him not playing there (whatever degree). Unless Matt says otherwise, please inform...

Welcome...he doesn't because it costs him too much money. Not to mention, he's not a big fan of the country right now (understatement).
  19. What? Too bad you don't like Matt with the acoustic. Not to mention, that's how most songs get started. OH well...
  20. Well, there's a lot of fools who don't own it.
  21. Great song. I really don't want to hear more of it because it's only a demo. I'll probably enjoy the finished version much better, and then go back to the demo and listen to it.
