Ya, it was the same during avalanche. at kool haus show he basically played whole CD except long way down, house of...., and double life. plus i believe that he doesnt play tons of classics because that was matthew good band. not matthew good. he probobly just wants to keep focused on what hes doing now, not whats in the past. alothough im sure he will do a tour that includes all his work. Metallica is doing that now. very well rounded setlists

is this toronto show all ages?

Near fantastica wouldve worked as a video because i heard a short version played on the radio many times on local radio stations. it was about 4 minutes long. And If i recall properly a video was going to be released for the song, but matt hurt his leg near the begining of the shoot. not totally sure but i read it somewhere.

They basically play everything from WLRRR, then throw in a handful of classics. mainly hello time bomb, apparitions, weapon, and everything is automatic. they also play a new song, and im not totally sure if they play under the influence or not. they used to. But i do konw they rotate every song on WLRRR (except hidden song) and maybe leave out 2 of them randomly. my friend saw every song but buffalo seven and Ex-Pats a week or 2 ago. hopefully this answers your questions

I heard that theres a longer version of "so long Mrs.Smith" somewhere? is that true? -
Wow. now thats an idea for a video. of course you would have to inlude all the members from the band as assorted charachters, kinda like strange days. I also agree that double life should've had a video. it just seemed like the kind of song that would be something you could hear on radio. It could've been one of those "live" music videos too.
-
It should be out soon. I figure it will be shot and released in the next few weeks, before the "put out your lights" tour. this is just my guessing though so dont get upset if im wrong
-
I thought I would get everyones opinion on MG/MGB songs that they think should have become a single release and had a music video. maybe say any songs that you think shouldnt have become singles. I'm personally quite suprised that Double Life and Born to Kill were never made into singles. I really dont think In A World Called Catastrophe should have become a single. Near Fantastica should have been the 2nd single (maybe even the first) off Avalanche. well thats my opinion, whats everyone else's?

So are they simply songs that were never put on record or something?

Maybe we shall never know the truth. Its like area 51, lol

.......i stand corrected.....touche.....

Lets start a bet! how many years untill tommy ramone dies? i give him a good 5 years. the drummers seem to stay healthier
-
Im almost 100% sure its been awhile is the next video, and im gueesing its going to be shot ones this tour finishes up. thats just my guess though
-

but also good at the same time. cngratulations. lol -
what they do is simply lower the pitch of each string so that the notes go Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb, as opposed to E A D G B E. your not changing the type of actual note to a lower version. your changing the note totally, but still keeping it to A440. hopefully that clears it up

Have you all seen the video of the one guy playing the mario theme song on guitar? its totally crazy. and also a video of someone beating super mario 3 in 10 minutes. i believe they are both on www.ebaumsworld.com if anyone is intersted. a hilarious site by the way
-
I just enjoy the whole album in general, lol. i think what made it so much better live was that the orchestra was gone and replaced by loud gibson guitars, which makes it quite a bit louder and heavier. oh well. he should do a live CD versoin.
-
i thought he stopped smoking after beautiful midnight. and i never heard of any surjury. its all news to me
-
Its a shame what a life of rock and roll and heroin abuse will do to you. Soon one of the greatest punk bands of all time will be all out dead. makes me sad really
-
Intersting point. Makes sense though and i never thought about the horn before
-
Ya, thats what i kinda guessed but it never seemed to be THAT much of a difference. your probobly right though. my other guess was that it makes the songs a bit heavier if they are a bit lower. well anyway thanks for helping me out
-
