You know how much time it takes to package those things, take em to the Post Office and such?? The Post Office isn't exactly close to where I live, in order to make it worth my time and gas money, I'd have to charge ludicrously high prices. And nobody likes those these days.

Ah...it doesn't matter a whole lot come to think of it, I rarely watch TV; and this show doesn't seem sifficiently interesting to change that.

I'm slightly confused, I thought the "Matthew Good" portion of this forum was supposed to be about Matt Good's music, not his wife's beliefs regarding fur.

Oh wow, I finally figured out what people here meant by The Metro...at least I think so, turns out it's just an old forum, I thought that when people referred negatively to The Metro... they expressed how much they disliked riding the subway or something. /stupid

If it had ended with him stuck at the bottom of the ocean or whatever, then it would've been a by far better movie. On the whole, I still do like the film, probably one my favorites, but the ending was just so...disjointed

If it were up to you to name a Matthew Good album, what would you call it? The only thing I can think of is it were a last album to call it "A Farewell to The Microphone"

The singer's voice can get sorta annoying sometimes, but aside from that, I like Modest Mouse, the lyrics are pretty good especially.

I rented it and saw it earlier today, it was an interesting movie. My impression is that this movie wasn't terribly popular when it first came out (in 1998), which is kind of a shame. It basically deals with a high school kid who finds a Nazi war criminal living in the same city. The kid becomes obsessed with the old man and spends months at his house listening to his distrubing stories and asking various questions. It becomes clear that the old man is un-repentent of his crimes against humanity and is still a sick and disturbed individual. But eventually the kid's darkest secret falls into the hands of the old Nazi, so each "partner" holds at his disposal the potential ruin of the other. A psychologically powerfully movie, I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind some langauge and violent/disturbing imagery.

From what I understand, the system is already partially obsolete. A missile developed on Russia, if I remember correctly it's called "Topol-M" ...it's most probably capable of bypassing such countermeasures. This defense system also a very expensive program mind you. Overall it's an obsolete, largely ineffective, overpriced, and useless system.
