I don't think you can buy individual track...I'm pretty sure it's the whole album or nothing for the pre-sale.

we need a pre-sale code for getting them on ticketmaster? ticketmaster also says there's no pre-sale for the ottawa date and just has tickets listed as on sale on friday rather than thursday...uhghhg

I think he needs an actual bassist to record with him because it seems like every song has a simple 8th note bass line playing on the root.. He obviously did it on purpose, but i think a more imaginative bass line would make the songs much more interesting... Just a thought..

I woke up to the new single on CBC Radio 1 and afterwards Jian Ghomeshi announced that Matt would be playing live on the show sometime this Tuesday (Sept. 8th)...so look for that in the near future. Not too sure what time it's happening though, but I'm sure it will be up soon. http://www.cbc.ca/q/

So Matt just mentioned that the album comes out October 6th (which I'm guessing is a monday)...so let the countdown begin!!!

I think anything like Blue Skies Over Bad Lands or Suburbia are great live because they're usually extended and sound amazing when the band is freed up from the studio version..

just watched There Will Be Blood.. the soundtrack was done by Johnny Greenwood and was amazing....really creepy stuff though

I just heard in an interview that he's moving onto Rhode Island and New Jersey next.. He also played on a couple tracks from Boxer by The National which I didn't know til now..ADA and one other one...

I've found that that's pretty much the case for any hip album....it didnt take this long for me to begin appreciating World Container though..
