  1. Well Elements is downtown Kitchener, so it'll be about a 35-45 minute walk at least. But yeah, just follow King, when you see the big TD building, you're somewhat close.
  2. Elements has pretty relaxed security.
  3. Is this the thing that's hosted on the quiznos site?
  4. They were about 10 Apatow-universe (undeclared, freaks and geeks) cameos.
  5. leg injury was the 'official' reason. I'm pretty sure it was more complicated.
  6. Please share your idea of what is funny (films, shows etc.) if you don't mind.
  7. Anyone who thinks Letterman isn't funny just doesn't get it quite frankly. The man is a genius and his show is the best of the bunch. Best interviewer hands down, also. In terms of being outright funniest, Conan probably takes the cake. Stewart's up there, too, but he's got a different kind of show. Only one who's not funny 95% of the time and is pretty much a hack is Leno. The guy can't interview worth shit either.

  9. It's so not picturize.
  10. I'm on a laptop right now so I'm not typing alot, but I've seen at least 50 episodes of yes dear (I watch drew carey on tbs and yes dear is on immediately after and there's nothing else on). So believe me, I've given it a chance, it's just terrible with these horribly contrived situations and lame jokes. The best part about raymond is something that's similar to seinfeld in that it can make a 22 minute episode about something like moving a suitcase and still have it be funny and entertaining (the rest of america and just about every critics association seems to agree with me).
  11. Two things, Peter Boyle is a magnificent actor. He's been top-notch in everything he's ever done including Raymond (especially whenever the script calls for him being dramatic). There's no plot variance in Yes, Dear. Let me guess, the one couple is gonna be really trashy and the uptight couple is gonna be embarrassed. Their parenting styles will clash, 'hilarity' will ensue. You can't deny the effect Raymond had on the television landscape either. It premiered when 'beautiful single people living in the city' shows dominated the airwaves. It was a family show that didn't care about the kids and didn't feature a main cast member under the age of 35. The idea of making shows about families is one that was re-popularized by Raymond in 98. They proved it could still work after shows like Seinfeld and Friends and countless knockoffs were all over the place after the downwards spirals of Roseanne and Home Improvement. If Raymond wasn't a hit, there would be no Yes, Dear or According To Jim etc. The humour might not appeal to you, but to say that Yes, Dear is actually one of the greatest of all-time (where's Seinfeld, Arrested Development?)? Anyone who knows anything about television would laugh in your face. It's sad too, because I read the top 10 movie thread and you had some decent taste there.
  12. It's funny that you despise Raymond yet seem to think that a show that pulls a plenty from Raymond is one of the greatest shows ever. Honestly, Yes Dear? How can anybody find that funny? it's so formulaic, with bad actors and terrible writing. I could honestly write a Yes Dear script in about an hour.
  13. Yes Dear?!? Seinfeld is 'decent' and Yes Dear is one of the greatest sitcoms ever!? You're the reason they have abortions, my god. That show is complete and utter trash. And Raymond is great, but nothing can be compared to Seinfeld. The finales for both shows were also great, both had very fitting endings.
  14. Clearly you were expecting some kind of subtle comedy if you were looking for clever jokes. I was expecting a slapstick, racy comedy and that's exactly what it was.
  15. I'm not talking about other tracks but this one directly. whatev, I'm out.
  16. go use your nf$ to buy a sense of humour.
  17. Canadian copyright laws? And to all the people who are responding saying they buy matt's CDs and go to his concerts, that's fine and dandy (although technically that's not really a valid excuse), but I'm not arguing your right to download the mp3 so... I'm just saying you shouldn't step in with "Buy the song, you owe that much to Matt!" and then at the same time give people the venue to download his songs (which are directly for sale in the exact same format) illegally. Can't have it both ways.
  18. You can't put streams onto your IPod or favourite mp3 player.
  19. If you're so adamant on people buying the track and showing their dedication to Matt, why leave the links to the free versions up? No one who downloads it at those links is going to buy it at iTunes now (whenever it is available) .
  20. I've heard September 20th. Not 100% sure though.
  21. The only Ferrell movie that's been just okay is Kicking & Screaming (and probably Bewitched). Everything else has been superb. And Wedding Crashers was fucking fantastic the whole way through. Vince Vaughn's character was basically Trent from Swingers 10 years older, which was awesome. Might be on par with Old School, hard to say.
  22. Right click the link and choose Save-As or Save Target-As.
  23. Video of Matt performing Suburbia added.
  24. I'll go with FOX then. Zap2it and Futon Critic still have it listed for the 19th, but I guess FOX just recently made the change. Earlier the better.
  25. The song is the same, the intro differs, the original had some beaver-cleaver type character talking at the beginning, the one that was on the album just had street noise. Nothing major.
