I'm an anarchist as most ppl know here, and if there was another Nazi threat, id probably fight. To me that is pretty huge, cause even though i hate the situation we are in right now politically, a Nazi threat would be a lot worse. Which is why we should all fight corporatism, it's the dawn of a new facism i swear! -

Even so, mistakes are made, and even one mistake, like killing an innocent can haunt you the rest of your days. Plus the other horrific scene's of other massacre's by friends and colleagues ( may or may not happen) that you could be witness to, would also suck. -
Fact: solar flares could burn us all Fact: Gamma Rays could also kill us all

Their also whores.. sometimes even bitching whores.

Yah, i like to blow things up like any other red-blooded Canadian person, but really i dont like to blow up people, just possibly buidlings, (empty ones). I wouldn't want to make it my job to blow people up, cause it wouldnt be fun, more dehumanizing. -

I probably did at some point in my very early age but i never took any inklings to do so very seriously. I have always not been a fan of the regimentation, the indoctrination ( as i see it, obviously not everyone will), and is personally not for me. -
Agreed!! Good food and Good drink you'll live a long and healthy life ;)
-
hahahaha yes man! That's awsome, im glad your reading the book i lent yah, im almost done with yours! And about the research, I do read probably everyday on geo-politics, but im a pathetic person with no life haha so really, it's nothing to be proud of.
-
Maybe people do agree? i was under the impression of otherwise.
-
hahaha, Lauren you have touched on something right there which a lot of people ( i find ) don't question enough! ;) (btw, thanks Hobo  )

Yah actually i had heard that, it kind of freaks me out, when you think of how much the Earth is sensitive to weather changes, and the more i read about it, the more i get completely freaked out lol. But yah, i am also the type of person who agrees with people who know what their talking about, which appears to be the both of us!

As per usual I

ecnarf, when it all comes down to it, we both agree. As far as I can see, we just have different multiple sources. I do hate Al Gore, but i didnt say why, he's a politician, and his job is to make himself look like this Earth loving crusader when regular folks have been fighting for the earth much longer then he, but he gets to take all the credit as this great environmentalist. Sure, he paints a worst case scenario, but that snippet basically also says that sure, it might not be like that either. I didnt say that it was going to be exactly how Al Gore portrayed, i said the science was accurate, and it's possible, and global warming patterns will get more violent. I still stand by that because there has been a definete increase in violent storms. But anyway, this whole thing is kind of semantics, so im just going to drop it since we basically agree on a fundamental issue.
-
I didn't say that. I said that Katrina was violent, and it was, it grew quite large before it hit. It caused so much damage because of the levies, not just the storm. But it was in fact, more violent then it would have been. If it's fundamentally accurate, then it's dead on, where exactly is he exaggerating? For example "Two separate studies from climate researchers and the space agency NASA show the glaciers are flowing into Antarctica's Weddell Sea, freed by the 2002 breakup of the Larsen B ice shelf. Writing in the journal Geophysical Research Letters, the researchers said their satellite measurements suggest climate warming can lead to rapid sea level rise."-From link But yes, everyone, get your shotguns, cause the zombie/cannibals are indeed comming lol

Wow Josh, that was insightful ;) We're not talking about a hundred years man, we're talking ten. People aren't panicking because like you and like many many other's they don't actually know how serious the problem is, and how quickly this is all taking place. In Antarctica, yes, where the penguins are, lol, massive amounts of frozen ice have broken off, and fallen into the ocean. This is a big problem for the raising of the ocean, and desalinating the ocean. Also, Greenland's ice has been falling into the ocean, more then expected, again the combined effects of too much of this, will have devastating consequences. We're talking about 20 feet of global raised ocean levels, which means, Manhattan under water, which means a ton of coastal regions globally are underwater. We're talking about millions of refugee's. Global warming is a huge, huge issue, and people need to google, it, need to educate themselves on it, because there are going to be a lot of crazy weather really soon. Everyone thought Katrina was bad, want to know why? Well because storms get more violent as they pick up more warm water beneath them, thus you see devastating consequences like Katrina. Storm's and psychotic weather patterns would not be AS bad, if we were at lower global temperatures. The general scientific consensus on this issue is overwhelmingly in favor of global warming being real, and something urgently needing to be done about it. Kyoto is a really small step, this proposal wants to bring global carbon emissions down to 1991 levels. This is again, a really small step, since 1991 levels are still unsustainable and unbearable for the Earth. I know I

I hate stephan hawking haha I dunno the whole idea of us just leaving Earth to go destroy some other planet seems pretty terrible. I mean, right now the technology really isn't there, i mean yes we could make little colonies, but to travel really far distances in search of another "Earth" type planet is a bit off yet i think. Whenever we can get past this whole, thermodynamics thing, then i think it'll be a lot more feasible. But even still, I don't know, would people really want to just leave Earth forever? Would anyone miss it?
-
Oh everything right now that's causing global warming is overwhelmingly caused by Humans. What's the point in stating that living ecosystems are alive? Well maybe it seems redundant, but a lot of people believe nature is dead, that because it has no consciousness that it is somehow not living, or at least from my experiance. Either way, we are killing our host, no other parasite does this unless it can move onto another host, we obviously can't, so we better change our tune.
-
Definetly Agreed. Although the Gaia hypothesis is just that, a theory. However it does have it's merits. The Earth, may not have consciousness, but I
-
Well when the ocean raises we'll all be dead. Oh, and also, the insane weather patterns will kill us because of global warming. We're basically heading for total ecological disaster, and thusly, our own complete and total destruction.

It's totally watermelon for me
