i would have no problem showing me in nude art if such a thing existed. i wouldn't say i'm actively looking for someone to make art out of me (as i don't have the time or the resources) but if someone offered and i wasn't having a fat day i would do it.

give discounts? no, they stole over a month from me. i want my pass free. and i want my cab money refunded. i had to snowbike to work last week and it was terrible. my shifts at work are all fucked up because it takes an hour or so to walk from school to work. i love doing my job most days. i get to help people, chat with them, and be surrounded by food all day. but i it ever got to the point where i hated it, i would line up something else then quit. the union is still fighting for the right to schedule themselves by themselves. i say we give it to them until june and in that time, negotiate contract terms and if they have to strike again, at least people can bike and walk. for me to bike downtown, it might take 20-25 minutes. last night when i cabbed back from downtown, it cost me $31. but i had to do it. i'm glad i don't have a health condition or something that required frequent trips to my doctors office.

i've been told scarlett johansson, anne hathaway. people are stunned at how much my sisters and i look alike.

update: buses are still on strike. mr. mayor has asked the minister of labour to force the union members to vote on the matter, as their representative wouldn't let them before. they do this on the 9th, and if they vote to end the strike, it will be at least a week until the buses are running again. to me, it means more old people won't be able to socialize, people can't get to work and students cant get to school. or anywhere else. people are spending grocery money on cabs so they can make more money to give to the cabs. i personally am living on 15 dollars until i get paid on friday. luckily i can walk and my boss is understanding. she isn't giving me pointless 3 hour shifts and she is avoiding scheduling me early in the morning or late into the night so i will be able to walk. stupid buses.

i hit up blockbuster all the time. there is one like 3 min from my house and since the bus strike, it keeps me alive. boyfriend doesn't torrent because he doesn't have an anti-virus (what is a good, free one to download?) and it takes like 3 days to do it on my computer and i don't like to keep it on while im not using it.

not to mention how bad that looks on them. not that it matters because people will still fly, but a little humanity goes along way.

a car or suv, especially a higher end one, would not have fared well while i was growing up. we would have had that thing ripped to pieces, and it would have been too small, even for 3 girls. not to mention the field trips, birthday parties, etc. that definitely required a minivan.

a grand from you mother?! did she win the lottery? today we visited the g-rents and g-ma gave me a sweater and g-pa gave me 20 dollars. they also gave me cheese.

i got a really cute cropped sweater, lots and lots of socks, moola, family time (and kitty time) and plenty of amazing food.

you should leave work at 330 so you can drive me to work at 4. or at least pick me up and drive me home at 930. today is absolutely horrendous for pedestrians... so of course i have to have an exam and work today. its rain and ice everywhere.

the city can't make it an essential service because the bus leaves ottawa region to go to hull. also, the main issue now is which level of management does the scheduling (i'm not sure what scheduling). ottawa wants to keep it the way it is, which the higher ups making whatever schedule they are fighting about, while lower downs want the lower management to make the schedules. while the latter makes sense (as it was explained to me, the former is like a home depot employee getting a paycheck not from their branch, but from their head office in toronto), it is not practiced in any other city in the country - probably for a reason. in the mean time, i can't get anywhere to get anyone presents, i have to pay to cab anywhere i want to go which i cannot afford. i can't get to work or school without a serious trek or paying for a cab.

its making my life so hard.
