it'll help for you to figure out how much sleep you need. you may be over or under sleeping.

its a bad method, thats for sure. and there are some people who just want to be right no matter what they are saying, but having spent a lot of time in religious groups, i can tell you from first-hand experience they really are just trying to help. its hard for one person, who sees something so clearly, to not understand why others can't see that same thing as clearly. i used to get in fights with my parents (about non-religious matters) because i thought i had something figured out and i thought that if they disagreed with me, it was because they didn't understand what i was saying because i thought that if they understood me, they would for sure agree with me. actually i still feel like that sometimes haha. the good christians (and there are quite a few, despite what the general populous thinks) just can't understand why you won't embrace their ways, especially in the face of fire and brimestone. hell is a sure thing for them... they just don't want you to be fucked in the ass.

it bothers me when people make a big deal out of that. if someone tells you that, say okay. i'm glad you know your beliefs and get out of there. believe it or not, they are just trying to help. the way they see it, they have the cure for a caner we all have and they don't want you to die from it. they aren't trying to be annoying or invasive.

i don;t like people yelling religious things at me, sexy t-rez or not.

like tracy said, i take some of my beliefs from organized religion, but i believe in other stuff as well. i do put a lot of faith in myself, like ryan. not in a religious way i guess.. not really in a spiritual way either.. but just as some would pray to god from strength or peace of mind or whatever else, i look to myself to make it. i do believe that the good i do here and now will make a big difference in the end. i do live in the here and now, and on a smaller scale, i guess what i just described is karma, but thats not what it is in combination with my other beliefs on a larger scale. i believe something larger than ourselves has created the earth, either out of science or in conjunction with science and lets us do what we want. i believe we will be judged on our behaviour here on earth when we enter the afterlife, but i don't yet know what i think the outcomes could be.

i don't think that is going to happen here.

it is possible to like an band or artist that has different religious beliefs than you. that said, what do you believe, ryan?

i think that its hard for anyone to argue about god with any degree of certainty. okay, you're set in your ways, you have your proof he doesn't exist, but have to died yet? probably not.

i think the problem is that some people confuse believing in god with participating in organized religion. at any rate, adam isn't here to stubbornly argue against god not matter what people say or do. so perhaps the fate of this thread will be shorter than originally thought.
