  1. that i would like to hear. edit: and mrs. jesus: no, what's good enough for trent isn't good enough for me. if i like it, i like it. if i don't, i don't. if trent reznor jumped off a bridge, i wouldn't jump off too. i'd be like...shit...that was pretty stupid.
  2. isn't quite sure where to use commas ;)
  3. nobody? fine. i just go on being the only one. screw you guys...i'm going home.
  4. i didn't read all that. maybe tomorrow. i'd just like to quote propagandhi: "fuck religion".
  5. i just did. my tiny heart is breaking. please let me be wrong.
  6. if by "i'm" you me "he is"...you're wrong, cuz i'm half cut. ha!
  7. thinks drinking mid week is less healthy than drinking end week.
  8. aww fuck...just from the name i'm dreading it's gonna be some rap vocal guest appearance. gawd i hope i'm wrong.
  9. took his south park avatar above and beyond the call of duty. props.
  10. it bothers me that this guy is so good and i feel all alone in my admiration of his music. you all know what i'm talking about. being matthew good fans, you've had to encounter this feeling. especially the americans among you. anyway, this guy's awesome. he plays organ and sings for the slackers (trad ska band) and sits in with countless other bands on organ. however, his solo stuff, which is just him and his acoustic guitar is fantastic. kinda bluesy, folksy. not complicated songs lyrically or technically, but awesome. i've seen him tagged as the next bob dylan on last.fm (i'm the top listener of him this week:) ), which isn't fair cuz bob dylan sux. and vic's smokey, new york wiseguy voice is great. i can't say go out and download some of his stuff, cuz you won't find it anywhere. i had to order his cds. i won't say go out and buy a cd you've never heard cuz no one likes unpleasant $20 surprises. i will share a song or two with anyone interested. if you likes what ya hears you can choose to support him yourself or not. anyway, lemme know, and i can stop feeling like the only one who's heard him.
  11. starts good threads.
  12. is he a shakakahn, or a shakakahn't? i don't know enough to say...
  13. prime, or whatever that rerun channel is called here, has been pissing me off with that. that show was on for like 15 years (i think it holds the record for longest running sitcom) and they keep showing the same dozen or so episodes over and over. and none of the best stuff, like when he formed no ma'am. i love al bundy. "where the hooters are fake, but man do they shake...at the nudey bar." oh al...you sage, you.
  14. is right about brand new.
  15. i remain jealous. i worship mike einziger, and there's no chance they're ever coming to halifax.
  16. leo's still doing call for help. it airs in canada and australia. pat's doing some webcast thing (this week in tech, i think it's called). screensavers went in the shitter when they both left and when techtv was gobbled up into g4, the whole channel went in the shitter, except for call for help. so, you ain't missing much.
  17. g4 needs to be tech tv again, and bring back the screensavers with pat and leo hosting.
  18. i will follow you into the dark - death cab for cutie.
  19. looked through both lists: THE GREAT GATSBY by F. Scott Fitzgerald BRAVE NEW WORLD by Aldous Huxley CATCH-22 by Joseph Heller 1984 by George Orwell ANIMAL FARM by George Orwell LORD OF THE FLIES by William Golding ON THE ROAD by Jack Kerouac THE CATCHER IN THE RYE by J.D. Salinger HEART OF DARKNESS by Joseph Conrad THE CALL OF THE WILD by Jack London (maybe in school..can't remember for sure) THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER by Tom Clancy DUNE by Frank Herbert (maybe. can't remember if i finished it)
  20. die, die my darling-misfits last caress-misfits kidding...unless she's freaky like that.
  21. i couldn't really pick one genre, either. my favorite movies are mostly pretty different from each other.
  22. i met a guy (boyfriend of a friend) who is straight, i guess, who, when we were talking about how much we liked nine inch nails, mentioned that he'd have sex with trent reznor. that's twice i've heard shit like that (i had a friend who said the same about marilyn manson). i mean, seriously...it's one thing to love and respect someone's music. it's another to want to stick it in their pooper.
  23. me too, but i'm retaining my liquids.
