thanks, shortcut, i'm only on the first song, but i like it. some cool riffage. edit: didn't jog my memory at all. maybe i never did hear them ;) if the vocals on their earlier stuff is like this, it's not hard to see where cobain got some of his vocal style from. -
maybe an i.v. dripping into a gramaphone?

i'm embarrassed to share a first name with him after hearing that billie jean cover (as much as i heard before turning it off). i might re-shorten christopher to christ just to get some distance. -

i think i heard them once in the early nineties. i've definitely heard j mascis name-dropped since. -
i suspect q104 will play it a lot (local radio station). that's the first place i heard 'can't get shot in the back if you don't run'. some live radio show they were broadcasting from somewhere else. they play a decent amount of matthew good.

we'll see what the financial situation is on canada day, but, yeah, $50 would be easier to piss away than $100.

the only soundgarden i was huge into was superunknown. before that, cornell was too...screamy. and the album after that blew, with a couple of exceptions. -

i thought you said john butler trio was too 'jammy' (not your exact words) for your taste? -
something else i want to do: one of the local radio stations, Q104, does this thing every year on canada day where you can pay to get songs played. i think the money goes to charity, but i'm not sure. a 'six pack' costs $100. depending on my financial state on canada day, i might order up a six pack of matthew good/matthew good band. i'm pretty stupid with money, so there's the chance i might actually do it.

i thought about going on a recommendation spree on last.fm, to groups, individual members, whatever, but there is still no matthew good music available on last.fm, so it's pretty much pointless. i think there's clips of matthew good band songs, but no full songs to preview and none of his solo work.
