  7. I say we read Anna Karenina. Because Stepan is cool.
  8. I think the actual series is called Confessions of Georgia Nicolson. The first one is entitled Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging. I highly suggest you read them.
  9. Me too. It just so happens that they're poor people's jewellry. According to Karen. Jack: "You know what'll be different about my show this year?" Grace: "You'll actually have an audience?"

  18. I have almost 4000 posts. ...Somewhere else.
  19. Sure. It's the story behind the painting entitled Girl With a Pearl Earring. It's set in 1665, during the Plague in Holland. Griet comes from a artistic family, but her dad becomes blind and can't paint, so she's sent to become a maid for one the best painters in the city. She provides inspiration for his next painting, against the wily onslaught of his lecherous patron, his malicious daughter, and his haughty wife.
  20. I just finished watching this. Wow. It was absolutely incredible. I madly loved it. Colin Firth is a beautiful genius and that elfin boy who played Pieter rules my world. Er. I was reading the novel today at the UBC bookstore and then we stopped for groceries by Roger's, so I rented it. It's amazing. Go rent it. Except Johanssen is kind of annoying after a while. Oh well.
  21. Rocky Horror Picture Show. Followed by Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and then by Zoolander.
  22. *cheer*!! Well, I've been waiting for this book forever and evers and I finally bought it last Saturday. There was only one left in Chapters and through my many connexions (okay fine, this girl I chat with), I got it. It's so good! In the U.K. it's called And That's When It Fell Off in My Hand. *snicker* Anyway, in this one, The Sex God has gone off to Kiwi-a-gogo-land to snog sheep and leaves Georgia to demonstrate extreme glaciosity to les boys. But when the lead singer of the Stiff Dylans shows, Georgia decides to seduce him (with much help, advice, and snogging from Dave the Laugh). Just to show you how completely awesome this book is, I give you excerpt. 'Tcha.
  23. Yeah...I was really really really really behind. I just didn't do homework ever.
  24. I don't. I almost failed maths that year. ...How this is different to any other year, I have no idea.
