I didn't shop after Christmas at all this year either. I just had no desire. I do a lot of successful thrift shopping these days, so I've sort of lost interest in paying more money for things that are far more common and generic than what I can find at Value Village or the Salvation Army.

It comes with every Apple computer. Like the thread creator mentioned, it's great for demos. I mostly use it to record jams in case something awesome comes out. ;) (that's for you, Anton)

I'm really into this song, which excites the shit out of me since Hospital Music didn't hook me the way I thought it should have, but this song has ;)

I use it once in a while and I like it. There are a few things I would change, but for a free application I'm not complaining. The sound quality is pretty damn decent too considering it's a recording directly from the computer mic. You can get inputs to plug right in though, which can really help, and if you do things track by track you can turn out something pretty sweet.

Along with a bunch of money to help pay off my camera and some other random stuff, I got a new skins for my drum kit, which was long overdue, so I'm super pumped to try them out! ;) I made some great thrift finds for gifts, all of which were very well received. This thread should also be about what we did for the holidays, no? My family had a lunch time turkey dinner and it was amazingly good. We invited my friend, and her mother (who's visiting from Germany) over and it was lovely. We played some music and then went visiting family after, followed by another delicious turkey dinner on my father's side with more music playing. Good times all around!

If it's any consolation, I had no idea who they were until you said that, and plan to forget about them after I post this. Instead of getting fast food after being out last night, my friend grabbed us some left overs from her house and not only were they healthier, they were delicious.
