he played an encore, but it was the second of two shows there, and the encore was shit. first night was giant and SWW, then ... something (sorry, i can't remember what anymore), and finished with apparitions. second night, the encore consisted of the band jamming out some club tune from the warehouse, then apparitions and song for the girl. edit** oh ya, and the song itself... well, it was a good excuse to beat the crowd the second night. probably my least favourite.

if i can decide on whcih song i would like to tackle, i could have one by the end of this weekend.

i thought it was sad because i wouldn't get to see how AoB turned out live. but then i realized that the break up produced AoB, and i thought it for the better.

learn it from the album, and play it the way that will highlight your talents (i.e. softer chorus to highlight voice if you feel it's strong, heavier chorus to hide voice if you can't sing it that well). obviously you're gonna have to leave out the part with the movie excerpt, but don't feel like you can't experament with it to find a suitable way to play it. also on youtube there's a matt good montage that's 7 minutes long, mostly him talking and snippets of songs, but it has the last chorus and the ending of avalanche on it.
