Saw it last night. Wow, i loved it. I was really afraid it would be a shitty love story using gay men instead of a man and a women, but it was nothing like that at all. I would reccomend it to anyone. The only things that pissed me off were minor tiny things. In the bar, Amos or whatever his name was, dances to a Steve Earle song, Devil's Right Hand, from the Copperhead Road album, which came out in 1988, but the movie was in 1976 at that point. That and in the gay-bashing scene from the 1930's, you can see the father's label on his jacket, from a recent brand. I guess neither of those have any effect on the actual story, but i get annoyed by those kind of things.

i know too many kids that are fucking idiots like this. They all loved the Used but dropped them when the became popular. They're the kind of kids that are snobby and they're just a different kind of prep. They'll hold the fact that you haven't heard of their favourite bands over your head, thinking they're so much better.

i couldn't even tell you. It just makes me want to beat him up. One of these days i'll pull the album out again. Maybe i'll like it. His voice has little range and i find it annoying. And he's not a really strong guitar player either. Maybe that's it?

I'll give it another try sometime. I said to Satty a while ago, something to the effect of "I'm not a masculine guy or anything, but i wanted to beat him up for being a pussy." I saw the video for Save Your Scissors yesterday, and i thought it was a cool video.

No, i'm not a fan of indie, i'm a fan of music. No, i do not hate it when a band becomes popular. I have 30 favourite bands, and 16 of them are indie. Indie music is usually unrestrained, and they're unafraid of new ground, and that's what i love about them.

Is conscience different in different people?

I like that. i don't have a problem with jail prisoners voting, but those in prisons are serious offenders. Personally, i wish we had the death penalty, and this may sound odd coming from a vegan, but someone who does terrible things, (say Paul Bernardo,) and is in prison for life might as well be executed. If no one contests his guilt, why not? Spend the hundreds of thousands of dollars on people who need it, like lepors.

I am so pissed off at headphones right now. I spent $30 on december 23rd, and i returned them on the 28th, because they sounded like a shitty alarm-clock radio. I bought a new pair of sony ones, the expensive kind that cover your whole ear, and are supposed to block out outside sound. Well, they don't, and everything has to be super loud and they keep making hissing noises and they randomly get really loud, so i'll have to return these too. I think i may spend $4 on earplugs and never listen to anyone again.
