Some of the files were too big for youtube to accept, so I threw them all on google because it was easy enough and they have a desktop uploader. I got decent sound quality out of my brothers digi-camcorder though, so I was happy. Too bad I missed the stage during most of Fine Art >.<

I've been playing lots of Spore lately, so I've been dreaming of that.

Watched The Boondock Saints with the lady last night.

I have the series in one lovely large hardcover. While I enjoy the series, it's not important enough to me to scoff at someone taking a stab at continuing it. Now, if it was the Ender's Game series, I'd be up in arms...

The only thing that's really bugging me about the recordings is the fact that the bass guitar appears to be really low in the mix, and almost inaudible, and it makes the recordings sound a little thin. Granted, that could because I've been listening with my laptop speakers and not headphones, but dammit! As a bass player I like hearing that stuff.

And Matt also mentioned that the crowd mics failed during Everything is Automatic so, for the choruses they took the vocals from the Peterborough show that they also recorded.

Something ridiculous and epic and 80's like "Love is a Battlefield"....

I still don't mind the music in that version, but dear lord the vocals.

I really enjoyed both the book and the movie. When it comes to film adaptations, obviously there are going to be inconsistencies, but keep in mind that Douglas Adams DID help to write the screenplay. In terms of the new book, I'll give it a chance, but like Charles said, it'll be hard for the new author to capture the feel of the characters I think.

Went to see Burn After Reading last night, it was pretty fabulous.

I'm definitely going to be pre-ordering on Maple Music, and because I have the day off, I'll be watching the site like a hawk, so it's no problem for me to snag an extra copy.
