I finished the book the other day, and I think it's aweomse. I'm not sure how the movie could possibly live up to it.

I'm sad to see Lombardi leaving Calgary- I know he hasn't been the player that the Flames have wanted him to be, but I still enjoyed watching him play, but picking up Jokinen really shows that the organization wants to a)break into "elite" status in the NHL and more imporantly b)bring a Cup to Calgary.

What's everyone thoughts on what happened on trade deadline day?

I've never been too excited about Watchmen, but I finally picked up the book the other day. I've only read a chapter and a bit, and so far, it's not bad.

Basically because it is really pretty and I like the concept of it. I've read in reviews it's extremely short, but I think it's something I could come back to once in a while to kill an hour or so.

PSN does not accept any of the credit card information I try to input, so I cannot play this. I really really want to play it. I've started playing Mass Effect again, I'm not sure I mentioned that.

Saw Friday the 13th this past weekend. Not too bad, though the kills, which, other than boobs are the main reason to see a horror film in my opinion, weren't all that memorable.

I was pretty choked when I found out the newer PS3's did away with backwards compatibility, but thankfully we have a PS2 so we're not totally out of luck. It's worth it I think to pick up a PS2 to grab some games, some are pretty damned amazing.

In regards to a couple things in the newspost- I do believe Matt is producing the album on his own, like he did with HM, with Zack Blackstone doing the engineering and mixing and such things. And 11 songs? Has Life in Spite of Itself been confirmed, or some other track?!?!

I can assure that Resident Evil 4, No More Heroes (and it's upcoming sequel) and the upcoming game Mad World are certainly not kids games. I won't deny that there is a whole lot of family friendly content on the Wii, but there are some "adult" games that have made their way to the Wii, with more coming down the pipeline.
