District 9 as well, was excellent.

I like Empty's Theme Park, but the first versions chorus (step right up, there's only a crowd if you hit the ground...) is way better than the second demos.

Why Is Black Helicopter On 'hospital Music'
AnOceanPearl replied to Moonlight_Graham's topic in Matthew Good
Musically, it fits in well with the rest of the album, and while yes, lyrically it is easily the most "political" of the songs on HM, politics is something Matt has always been passionate about and is a big part of his life, much like the other subjects he talks about on the album. -
I am choosing not to order mine at all: Sort of a Protest Song A Single Explosion 99% of Us is Failure Blue Skies Over Bad Lands Prime Time Deliverance Fearless Fated Born to Kill Running for Home The Workers Sing a Song of Mass Production Weapon Avalanche Suburbia The Fine Art of Falling Apart Also, I could to this again in like an hour and have a slightly differnet list.

Indeed it is. Also, "breaks" should be "brakes". I also enjoy how some of the piano in the opening/verses has been changed to a guitar lick in the final version.

Last Parade. Sounds fucking awesome.

It's up, refresh the page yo!

I have seen The Hurt Locker and Public Enemies in the last couple weeks. The Hurt Locker was excellent, minus the extensive use of "shakey cam", Public Enemies was decent enough.

And by the 13th, you mean the 14th, yes?

Just picked up Watchmen and Speed. -
I saw the new Harry Potter. I was confused as hell, but the movie was pretty decent.

My first exposure to MGB was Everything is Automatic, and when it came out, I loved it the first time, loved it less the second time, and by the fourth or fifth listen I thought it was shit. I thought Indestructible was okay when I heard it, and was pretty much floored by Apparitions and how great it was, but it wasn't enough to turn me into a fan. Time passed, Hello Time Bomb hit the radio and I thought it was pretty good. My dad bought the CD and one weekend while I was at his house, I gave it a spin. As soon as Giant started, I knew I was going to love the album, and I sure as hell did. I loved it so much I burned a copy of the CD and gave that one to my dad, taking the copy he purchased with me back to my mom's house.

Regina Spektor's Latest: Far
AnOceanPearl replied to Prometheon's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
I agree with the statement about the last two songs, now that I think about it. The Calculation, Eet and Folding Chair are probably my faves so far. -
Regina Spektor's Latest: Far

Listening to it right now actually, as I bought it and Soviet Kitsch about 3 weeks ago and totally forgot I did so, and I really like it. And while I think it is more "poppy" like Owen said, it's pretty solid all the way through, and I think I like it more than Begin to Hope. -
Don't See Transformers 2 Or Year One

Funnily enough, I didn't mean to post about her in here. But yes, she is a cutie pie. -
Might as well just use this one.

Nope, sorry!
