  1. Next Tuesday, I start playing Batman: Arkham Asylum which I am so stoked for.
  2. District 9 as well, was excellent.
  3. I like Empty's Theme Park, but the first versions chorus (step right up, there's only a crowd if you hit the ground...) is way better than the second demos.
  4. Musically, it fits in well with the rest of the album, and while yes, lyrically it is easily the most "political" of the songs on HM, politics is something Matt has always been passionate about and is a big part of his life, much like the other subjects he talks about on the album.

I am choosing not to order mine at all: Sort of a Protest Song A Single Explosion 99% of Us is Failure Blue Skies Over Bad Lands Prime Time Deliverance Fearless Fated Born to Kill Running for Home The Workers Sing a Song of Mass Production Weapon Avalanche Suburbia The Fine Art of Falling Apart Also, I could to this again in like an hour and have a slightly differnet list.
  6. Been playing Call of Duty 4 online a bit lately.
  7. Indeed it is. Also, "breaks" should be "brakes". I also enjoy how some of the piano in the opening/verses has been changed to a guitar lick in the final version.
  8. Last Parade. Sounds fucking awesome.
  9. It's up, refresh the page yo!
  10. I have seen The Hurt Locker and Public Enemies in the last couple weeks. The Hurt Locker was excellent, minus the extensive use of "shakey cam", Public Enemies was decent enough.
  11. And by the 13th, you mean the 14th, yes?
  12. I almost want to know how much he would pay for my signed copy...
  13. Playing Call of Duty 4, more NHL 09 and Plants vs Zombies.
  14. Have watched Watchmen, Zoolander and Across the Universe in the last few days. Now watching The Devil and Daniel Johnston.
  15. Beyond Good and Evil is excellent. Most excellent.
  16. Just picked up Watchmen and Speed.
  17. I saw the new Harry Potter. I was confused as hell, but the movie was pretty decent.
  18. God of War is a great series, and I'm excited for number 3. I only have 4 games for my PS3 right now, Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone 2, Little Big Planet and Flower, which are all excellent, and I'm waiting on God of War 3 and Heavy Rain to bolster my library.
  19. My first exposure to MGB was Everything is Automatic, and when it came out, I loved it the first time, loved it less the second time, and by the fourth or fifth listen I thought it was shit. I thought Indestructible was okay when I heard it, and was pretty much floored by Apparitions and how great it was, but it wasn't enough to turn me into a fan. Time passed, Hello Time Bomb hit the radio and I thought it was pretty good. My dad bought the CD and one weekend while I was at his house, I gave it a spin. As soon as Giant started, I knew I was going to love the album, and I sure as hell did. I loved it so much I burned a copy of the CD and gave that one to my dad, taking the copy he purchased with me back to my mom's house.
  20. Our Lady Peace at least had 3 really good albums. I like to go with "The Default Theory of a Nickelcreed".
  21. I agree with the statement about the last two songs, now that I think about it. The Calculation, Eet and Folding Chair are probably my faves so far.
  22. Listening to it right now actually, as I bought it and Soviet Kitsch about 3 weeks ago and totally forgot I did so, and I really like it. And while I think it is more "poppy" like Owen said, it's pretty solid all the way through, and I think I like it more than Begin to Hope.
  23. Funnily enough, I didn't mean to post about her in here. But yes, she is a cutie pie.
  24. Might as well just use this one.
  25. Nope, sorry!
