Watched The Devil Wears Prada (and didn't hate it!) and Total Recall last night.

What Graphic Novels Are You Reading?

Another of my faves that I just remembered is "Jokes and the Unconcious" written by Daphne Gottlieb and illustrated by some other girl. Really good. -
I saw a couple of Sedaris books at HMV and am thinking of picking a couple up. Finished No Country for Old Men the other day, and if I recally correctly, the movie ended much more happily than the book does. I guess we will find out when I watch the movie again soon. Picked up Ray Kurzeil's "The Age of Spiritual Machines" today, will start Tuesday probably.

Spiritual Machines Criminally underappreciated as far as I'm concerned. -
Us Remains Impossible is a free download on iTunes with a Single of the Week card thing from Starbucks. Ironically, I found this out right after "Free Download/Downloading Blues" came on my ipod.

Autobots, roll out!

The second show he played in Calgary was 14 songs including the encore, the first was about the same.
-
I think he's playing less Vancouver material in the US to give them a chance to hear a good variety of songs from his catalogue, as he doesn't get the chance to go down there that often.

Drummer is Blake Manning, he is a really awesome guy to chat with, and is the happiest drummer I have ever seen.

Whereas Protest Song is far and away my favorite song ever. -
The one thing I don't really like about his writing is his like of quotes when someone is speaking- it can make things a bit confusing at times. Really enjoying the book so far though, maybe even a bit more than I liked the Road.

Sometimes they like to jam during Load Me Up.

I recently read a book called "Total Oblivion, More or Less" which was fucking fantastic. Currently reading "the Ninja Handbook" by the creators of the Ask a Ninja website, and I'll be starting No Country for Old Men pretty quick.

For me, it's mostly about the design. I think gmail's interface is cleaner and simpler to use.

Shorter sets does not mean lesser quality. Saw Matt play at Calgary Folkfest for a half hour, 7 or 8 songs and it was an excellent show. And let's face it, you can't expect a guy to have the same energy he did 12 years ago.

Family pet, a fish named Sticks. Pet I purchased on my own and have taken care of with no one's help, Bowser, my hedgehog. Current pets?

Sort of a Protest Song Avalanche -
I recommend Moon to everyone I talk to, same with the Hurt Locker. Both are so excellent in their own ways. Sam Rockwell could've made a run for an Oscar if the Academy was aware Moon existed.
-
I am also stoked over the Hurt Locker winning best pic, and Bigelow winning best director. Great movie. Still sad about the lack of love for "Moon" though.

Stimpy Frisky Dingo or Aqua Teen Hunger Force?
