Waiting is pretty sweet. I got lucky and picked it up at a 2/30 sale at HMV one day.

In the media he was portrayed as kind of an asshole, but that was because he was outspoken about controversial issues and very blunt about them. They never mentioned he was outside shaking the hands of 200 fans after a show and playing part of a tour sick because of it.

Oh Be Joyful gets me quite pumped up, as does Anti-pop. When I'm pissed off, there's nothing like cranking up my bass, cranking up Born to Kill and rocking out in my basement, alone, to get rid of my frustrations.

I think the last time I heard Matt play Running For Home was at the Calgary Stampede in 2001. The sun was setting and there were 5000 people singing along and it was absolutely stellar.

I didn't intend on getting wasted, it just happened. Oh how I wish I was at my regular bar with 2 dollar highballs though...

I'm pretty sure he still has darktown. For me, Matt Good music is Matt Good music, and no matter how it might vary from record to record, it always hits me in such a profound way. I don't care what it might sound like, how he does it, I just want the music.

I think I had about $65 worth of Long Islands last night. Apparently I said a lot of inappropriate things and made myself look like an ass. I blamed it on being distraught.

I got over my upsetness by drinking a lot of long island ice tea last night.

Now that I'm thinking about them, when I bought "Full Collapse", I couldn't get past "Understanding in a Car Crash" for about a week, because I didn't think the album would live up to that song. Then I head "Cross out the Eyes" and "Paris in Flames"

It does suck, but the input still functions, so that's good. No soldering work needs to be done. Just need to buy a new pickguard, pop off the tone control that's staying on there thanks to Krazee Glue, but on new pick guard, reglue knob and we're set.

Matt has ALWAYS been outspoken, and yes, earlier in his career I'd say he was kind of an asshole, and very blunt, but as he's aged, he's mellowed out. I think it's bullshit that people won't listen to the music for the music and will base their perceptions of their music on what they've heard of an artists actions, especially one outspoken like Matt.

Me and a couple buddies were jamming, rocking out a bit, and my strap popped off the bottom strap button, I dropped and then stepped on it. I promptly drank a beer.

This is on my to buy list. Currently I'm reading "Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell", and I just finished up "Jarhead" the other day.

I'm a huge fan of Thursday, and this is one of my favorite albums ever I think. I remember the first time I heard the opening notes, I got chills.
