I really love all of the songs on this album for different reasons, I think my only slight nitpick is the chorus on So Close leaves a bit to be desired but it is what it is. I don't think I can really make a list of 1-10 but I'm glad to see Via Delarosa get some love in a few of your lists! I think this is my favourite album since Hospital Music. Every song has incredible depth that seems effortless compared to LOES and Vancouver which, while great albums almost seem too forced to me in their musical approach. I can't wait for my Vinyl to get here.

I understand Matt, and I'm not really complaining. I saw you recently in Bala and have been to several shows in the past that were all excellent. It is fucked up that I've only heard your single once on any station in Ontario and I think that was 97.7. Honda thanks for the advice, I remember sitting next to you years ago at Massey Hall with my girlfriend you're a good guy. I don't know if it's Ticketmaster including the fee's in the pricing but $53 a ticket is too steep for me to see him in Hamilton or Toronto.

I just saw Savages at the Mod Club last night and they were awesome.

There is new merch, everyone was buying the sweet firebird mg logo shirt... including me. And gentleman husbands are pretty solid, they sounded really good but I don't know why they played a cover of u2's with or without you.

To get played on the Edge now you would have to get rid of all the drums in your record completely, hire a banjo, wear a fedora and use the word "heart" and "head" in 90% of your songs.

Thanks for posting Matt, I hadn't put much thought into the lyrics yet but I'm definitely never going to see them the same way after reading your thought process behind them. Can't wait for the rest of the record.

Going through 5-6 years of post secondary school to become a teacher costs a shitload too. People talk about only working 10 months of the year, but teachers put in a lot of time at home without pay. That's not to say that there aren't teachers who just phone it in, but I think the majority of them are decent people.

What are you guys thoughts about her? She only has one album and an ep released so far, I can't say I care for the majority of her work but I do enjoy a few songs. The Hamilton show was great aside from the usual drunk idiots who consistantly "Woo!" and yell stupid shit at Matt. I got a video of WWWHR on my iphone, I'll upload it to youtube tonight. The video is useless on it because it's so dark, but the audio is pretty decent.
