I would probably put this as my favourite album of the year so far, maybe tied with Destroyer's Kaputt. PJ Harvey's Let England shake in 2nd or 3rd, and MG 4th.

Yeah I've listened to it for like 20 times in a row. Bummed I didn't pre-order the LP to get all the extras. Also bummed I'm going to Osheaga the day they're not playing.

The fact that you'd buy 3 formats of the same album makes me question your reasoning as well. We could play this game all day. The point is, we still support Matt's music with purchases and I will be seeing him on tour. Whether or not maplemusic or whoever publishes his LP's chooses to include a digital download is their own decision. I do not feel guilty at all "pirating" his record when I've already spent $60 on this album.

I really like the new album. I spoiled it somewhat once again by listening to demo's, it's just too hard not to. My only complaints is that there is occasionally too much brass, and I think he really needs to have a drummer write the drum parts of his songs, just playing them with his hands on garageband doesn't do the rest of his work justice.

For the CD's yeah no doubt, but the LP's? Avalanche fetches some decent coin, and Vancouver's up there too.

Wait a year and see what ebay thinks of that price.

I would rather take 15 minutes of my life every 2 years or so to vote then have to wait 4 years to "hope" for change in another election. A lot can change over 4 years, especially when any party has a majority.

I'm more than disappointed.
