  1. At his acoustic show in Vancouver they kept blinding me O.o
  2. OCRemix! You guys are awesome ;) Great Big Sea - Old Brown's Daughter
  3. I kinda liked how Angel ended...It was frustrating and enraging...but somehow it fit. A movie about DS9 would be great. Next to ST:NG, it was my fav series. I miss Duckman... *thrusts pelvis*
  4. Hm, yeah, I found that a bit irksome about the CD as well. Mind you, sometimes, as horrible as this sounds...it's kind of nice to have the music sound a bit the same once and awhile...it's...I don't know...comforting?
  5. Man, I'm bored at work, and even though "Jenni's Song" is playing, I have the goddamn Hamster Dance stuck in my head...
  6. IMDB is notorious for posting faux info about movies...any other sources talk about this?
  7. Those are awesome awesome pics, thanks for posting them!
  8. Touching, heartbreaking song... Thanks so much for posting that.
  9. Well, I enjoyed the album. But for some reason, while everyone else finds Tom Delonge's voice extremely irritating and whiny, I seem to enjoy it. I think it has something to do with the child-like quality in his lyrical content and vocals. Adds an odd sense of sincerity to things. But then, that's my opinion *shrug*
  10. Tripoli and Truffle Pigs blew me away personally. I listened to those on repeat endlessly it seemed, when I first heard them. I do agree though, Gen X is amazing acoustically, it does seem to fit a bit better.
  11. XD by places I thought you meant musically LOL Hmm...I'd like to see him go to Asian countries, like Japan. But then I'm obsessed with Japan >.> There used to be a show called Guerrila Concerts or something, where a band just randomly shows up at a place, and places a concert. Matt could do that, but do countries instead of local places... I just want to see him in Japan ;) haha how funny would it be if he recorded some of his songs in Japanese... He could become a J-Rock Idol! wahaha I still stand by my choices in my last post about what songs I'd like him to record live.
  12. There's also a stuff you can buy at Pet stores called Bitter Apple spray, that works wonders, and doesn't leave your house smelling like Tabasco or something ;)
  13. That was adorable, thank you for sharing that!
  14. Considering how "grown up" he is now, I would love to hear more of the folk-y, acoustic style he's been showcasing lately. His last acoustic tour just solidified it. But then, acoustic has always sort of been my preference anyway. Although, that sort of epic, orchestral thing he had going on was extremely, awesomely cool. But I think he mentioned he wouldn't do that again because it's really expensive? I'd like to see what he could do, purely on an instrumental level. As for existing songs recorded live....hmm... * Suburbia, it's got such a deep, rich sound, I love it * Giant, because it's got my favourite lyric of his in it, and I would melt into a puddle of estrogen to hear him sing it live * The Workers Sing A Song of Mass Production, because I just love the way he sings it * Hopeless, because I love the way it sounds live, and it just makes me smile for some reason * Running For Home, because it brings a tear to my eye * Deep Six, because it has such a sexy sound for some reason O.o I think I'll just stop there, I could go on forever.
  15. Aww, that's so sweet, thanks for the offer, Kirb, but I just tried it again, and it's awesome sauce. I remember hearing this song at the Commodore Ballroom, and it just filled me up with something amazing. The extra verse is just coolness.
  16. haha what? I think the logo is adorable! Man, I bet that cow feels horrible, because it can't play the guitar...
  17. Hapa Izakaya is the one! Thanks so much! ;)
  18. This has been bugging me forever, and now my friends and I need a cool place to eat at next Sunday, so it's bugging me even more A long time ago, I think Matt mentioned on his blog, this really awesome looking Japanese restaurant, and for the life of me, I can't remember what it's called >.< I tried looking for it in the archives, but no dice. Does *anyone* remember what it was called?
  19. Awww, dang, I got a message saying "Unfortunately, the number of Download Slots for your area are exhausted. Please Bookmark and try again later" ;)
  20. haha that damn Gnarls Barkley song is *too* fun to dance to. Damn you, Robson Square Summer Ballroom Dancing! Going to bed with House of Smoke and Mirrors. I can't help it. There's something very comforting, heartwrenching and familiar about his voice.
  21. Still Donkey Rhubarb....followed by Sasha - Xpander I think if I listen to Matt Good right now, I'll just gravitate towards the stuff that's a little too moving for 1:30am...No reason to go to bed sad I am well aware of bad Trance. I like Progressive though. Sasha & Digweed and Armin Van Buuren (Saw him @ Plush and fell in love) are the favs so far. I shall look for Chicane, thanks!
  22. I'm new to it, but I <3 Trance. Truffle Pigs Followed by Aphex Twin - Donkey Rhubarb
  23. Solar Stone - Seven Cities (Solaris Heights mix) ah, just ended Running For Home
  24. Maybe I'm pessimistic, but anyone who says they can be happy *all* the time, are so lying XD What people need is balance. A balance of being naughty and nice, and a balance of being happy and being, not despondent, but reflectively sad? If that makes sense... For some reason, I feel like both you and Matt Good need a hug lol Damn it, everyone needs hugs.
