I'm so torn between getting a PS3 and getting the Nintendo Wii... I just modded my PS2, so I've got all these foreign games to play... Getting a PS3 seems like such a waste...but...the Final Fantasy franchise is with Sony...

I completely agree, a lot of the time, his movies are completely overhyped, that there's no way it could possibly live up to those standards. Which is a shame because they're, at best "ok" or "good"-ish, so on their own, no hype, I'm sure people could live with it. That being said, I originally really wanted to watch this movie, I have this bizarre obsession with mermaids, and I had heard this movie features one extensively. But upon hearing all their opinions, on top of the already bad reviews in the media, I think I'll pass. On a completely off topic note, did anyone check out that "Yamji" link, posted on Matt's blog? It's looking pretty damn interesting. For movie-geeks anyway.

For some reason I find that so surreal... -
Yeah...I found the entry a little frightening. He's a big boy, we oughn't to coddle him or anything...but I'm just a tad worried and scared for his well-being... I don't think he's a drama queen or an attention-seeker, but what are we to do when he posts things like that?

I've had many days like that XD Tomoyasu Hotei - Battle without Honour or Humanity I feel like taking someone down, samurai-style. -
I take it you've never seen "Master of the Flying Guillotine" On topic: I am PSYCHED for The Prestige. I can't wait for "The Prestige" to come out either! Christian Bale is an amazing actor. Did "Master of the Flying Guillotine" have a guy standing on one leg in a "high kick" pose, I guess to supposedly signify martial art training, whilst reading a dirty magazine and jerking off? Well. Chinango did. Horrible, horrible movie.

Ong Bak is freakin' awesome. Mind you, I never watched the movie release that apparently changed the soundtrack. The original Ong Bak had the most ridiculously hilarious soundtrack ever. Almost took away from the awesme Muy Thai. If you *ever* want to see the *worst* possible Martial Arts movie...seriously, I'm not joking, it's digusting, I suggest you rent a movie called "Chinango". Oh god. The horror. "Stranger than Fiction" looks awesome though. The story seemed really inovative.

That Nutrigrain bars commercial is gold. "baaaaaabiiiiesss yeaaaaaah" Oh, and that Solo Mobile commercial That guy holding the busted lamp...that's what did it for me.

Personally, and again, this is purely opinion, I feel like maybe Matt's finally getting around to opening up musically, into the person he really wanted to be. I, too, am a "n00b" fan, but when I listen to the band stuff (and of course, there are always those exceptions), I find that it's done a really good job at catering to the strong rock-out crowd, whereas with the Matt Good stuff, it's just...a lot more honest sounding? I don't know if that makes sense. Instead of just purely rock-out stuff, you hear a lot more country sounds. Folkish sounds. and, what I think, are purer vocals. And isn't that where he started to begin with? I'm looking forward to seeing what he's going to come out with next. He's grown a lot as a person and a musician, I think, and I always look forward to the intimacy he allows us to be privvy to, in his music.

I have stupid CDs that I listen to, purely for nostalgia value: Monty Python Sings Alanis Morrissette - Jagged Little Pill The Drew Carey soundtrack XD Always love to bust out the S Club 7 once and awhile too haha -
I had quite possibly the most fangirlish dream one could possibly have. Yes, it concerns Matt Good. Turn away now, its sacchrine will give you cavities. Plus it's long, sorry. We're in his apartment, and we're sleeping, and I wake up in the morning, everything's like, bright, rainbow colours. I kiss him on the forehead, and walk into the kitchen. I am now in one of those typical 50's style housewife dresses, complete with apron. I make him bacon, eggs and toast & a coffee. I bring it to him, and he's now up, reading the newspaper. But he's wearing a yukata. And now I'm wearing a yukata as well. And he's speaking Japanese. I leave. and now I'm back in the 50's outfit. Everything is black and white. I start vacuuming the rest of the apartment with an old school vaccuum. Benji is now a little black boy and Casey is a little girl. They're playing on the floor. Suddenly it's noon and Matt walks in, looking like Ward Cleaver. There's a dining table in the living room, and I sit them down and make them some Kraft Dinner for lunch. Somehow during lunch it became night, and the children go off to school. At night. Yes. I head into the bathroom, everything is in Sepia. and I am now in an outfit right out of those 60's pin-up girl calendars...or a recent Christine Aguilera music video >.> Matt comes in to put on his cufflinks, and he looks like James Bond. There's champagne on the night table now, which we sip, and then head out to paint Robson Street red. Yes. Activities included Robson Square dancing, dinner at Robson Sushi (which actually looked more like the Japanese restaurant in Kill Bill Vol. 1), and a walk in Kits Beach. We come back home, everything is back in normal colour and the children are sleeping...on the floor in the living room...>.> Head back to the bedroom, and now we're back to the Japanese clothing. Dim the latern on the nighttable and you can make up the rest in your imagination.

It was supposedly Jet Li's last martial arts movie, because his doctors were telling him if he continues to do martial arts movies, he'll be in a wheelchair in 10 yrs (back problems or something?) but apparently he and Jackie Chan are teaming up to do a movie together. Which is awesome and ridiculous. And Fearless isn't really a cheesy Kung Fu movie, or at least, I didn't think so. Based upon a real person, I believe.

Favorite Live Album?
Muran replied to Some Random's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
Damnit! I was going to say Rock Spectacle! And Blind Guardian is thumbs up too I guess I'll go with Philosopher Kings' "One Night Stand" -
Seeing as "Sweet November" is the only chick flick I will watch, I really want to see it too. Mind you, The Lakehouse is a remake of a Korean movie called "Il Mare", and I'd much rather watch that, can't find it though.

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, what's the difference between a wedding ring and the wedding band? I didn't know we get three rings when we get married ;)
-
I thought it was "taco's my shoe" which makes even less sense...
-
haha damn, I could say something sick right now, but I won't because I'm polite ;)
-
That too. ;) Which cancels out the cool and makes it cheesy. Dude, Bleach is awesome. Not cheesy. *awesome* I know a friend who wants to get "ai" tattoo'd to his forehead (or at least somewhere on his body), just like Gaara, from Naruto.

Do you happen to watch Bleach? ;)
